the shit that I heard was that some of the senior devs were posting on 8chan during/around gamergate, or something to that effect. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they shilled the game on /v/ either to be frank. (Ready to eat my left shoe if this is all bullshit btw, I honestly don't know)

I also wonder how much of the company is still even the same since the early access launch. I know almost the entire pre-alpha team got booted. There's no way there hasn't been some major restructuring in the background either.

It's so ironic considering the game is anti violence even in cases where it doesn't just risk you, but also potential victims as well. But guess political violence is okay when it's for the right cause.

I think the point being made is that the game's disclaimer states they won't be glorifying criminal acts, which they consider "cowardly". As I recall, there is even a mission where a group of shooters planned to assassinate someone and shot and killed a bunch of people prior to the mission's start.

So when someone commits a cowardly criminal act and assassinates someone, you have the community manager giving positive reception to the incident on his public-facing account. What does that say about your company? How hard is it for retards to keep their traps shut and say nothing about it until the flames have died down?

Kaminsky was probably some level of nepo hire. He was very widely hated in the fanbase prior to the Kirk comment, hell search his name on the subreddit and sort by top of the last year and you'll get his greatest hits of retardation.

The thing with the Kirk comment is that, to the best of my understanding, it was made in a private moderator section of the discord. So it was a private-ish comment that got leaked to the subreddit. He was smart enough to not talk shit about Kirk in general chat, but not smart enough to keep his mouth shut entirely.

Remind me, have the censorship changes been reverted by a mod yet? I think I remember there was a mod that fixed almost everything, but Nexus had a problem with them restoring content that mentioned CSAM related material, because it was apparently "illegal"(then how the fuck did it make it into the core game, then?). If I wanted to play the game today, I want to do so without the faggy changes, I couldn't care less about what the new updates add.

You can't play with console peasants because they have no option to allow gamers with modded players, but I'm assuming that wasn't something anyone really cares about anyway.
