i really hate these bullet-point definitions of fascism, they allow for this zenon paradox type of shit - fascism gets closer and closer, yet never arrives, so you can always scare campaign that it is getting closer, because if you were to declare that the fascism is already here, then the silliness of larping the handmaiden's tale would be really really evident

I was going to write a whole MATI wall of text about how literally every post-WW2 U.S. president has given federal aid for disasters, (as well as presidents/prime ministers in pretty much every 1st world country) but then decided, why bother. These people just use whatever words they like to slander whoever is in their crosshairs at a given moment without regard for logic or consistency. And then whenever a new [current thing] comes up, they shift gears without regard to what they said before.

I cannot stand those types.
 
I love how almost all articles listed under "Rampant Sexism" are crying about trannies getting their special treatment rights taken away. There's also a lot of mismatched articles because that's what you get when you're lazy and use AI instead of reading the worthless articles you're linking.

They must have read diluted versions of Umberto Eco's explanation of fascism and used it as infallible pointers for comparison. Add in a quick glance at Karl Popper's tolerance paradox and there you have it, you too can identify fascism and prejudice everywhere.

And I think we all know "Democracy" means when the government is ran exclusively by the MovieBobs of the world.
 
If this is what "fascism" is, democracy is for gay faggots and I don't want it anymore.

Also sick of these fucking shit-for-brains calling everything "fascism", when they really mean "totalitarianism" or "despotism". Fascism is primarily an ideology, not a government type (i.e. it's possible for a fascist democracy or fascist republic to exist without being oxymoronic). All it means is that the government's primary goal should be to unite the people as one under it's own banner (fascism is derived from the Italian "to fasten (the people together)"). The meaning was butchered to the point where it's now synonymous with tyranny, which is the opposite of what it originally represented. But if the scary words don't mean what you want them to mean, just shout them enough until the meaning changes.

Ironically this original definition does makes Trump a fascist in the truest and best sense of the word, considering how high his approval ratings are across the board.
