Really good carne asada tacos with homemade pico de Gallo I just made.
For the pico: one onion (whatever kind you like I used red)
2 cloves of garlic
2 Limes
2 Roma tomatoes.
One bunch cilantro.
Adobo, cumin, salt&pepper.
For the steak (I used eye of round thin cut, sirloin works too or whatever else just slice it thin)
Cotija cheese (or feta)
Tortillas.
Cumin, smoked paprika, chipotle chili powder, cayenne, adobo seasoning, sazón, salt&pepper
Chop onion, tomato, garlic, and cilantro up and combine in bowl, add adobo seasoning, cumin, salt and pepper, squeeze limes in
Marinate beef with adobo seasoning, smoked pap, sazon, cumin, salt and pepper and leave in fridge covered for an hour at least up to over night
Cook meat in a little oil until done, place tortilla on pan with more oil, pop any bubbles that form, add cotija, add meat, close tortilla, flip, take out and drain, when you're done spoon pico over top and serve with lime wedges
