Somebody on Twitter linked to https://www.reddit.com/r/phallo/ which I never knew existed. And wish I still didn't.

Honestly a bit nauseated, and I thought I had lost that capacity a while ago about things seen on-line.
Don't we on the farms have an SRS horrors thread? I'm sure I've seen it in the list but I'm certainly not going to click on it.

Don't look at the tranny SRS thread then. It's full of Zippertits, fake dick abominations & bloody axe wound horrors cut into men's crotches.

This another recent one? Fucking hell they're having a busy month. The cyber Stalker one (where Thomas was on the side of the average shrieking Reddit user), affirmative action and now shitting on cancelling student loans again.

Amusingly this one is highly voted
I knew this was the choice they were making because they decided to leave it to the last possible second before they went on vacation. You knew they were saving this for last because it was going to be so unpopular.
I'd have thought anyone calling this more relevant than affirmative action would be classed as racist.

Ahh redditors, they are a special breed.
They paused payments so I wasted all the money I should have saved in case I lost my job, which is why they paused payments.

I will say I am all for student loan forgiveness, as long as there's mortgage forgiveness for those of us who weren't 'tards and paid off our student loans instead of getting a bunch of tattoos.

/r/Europe has discarded 4300 votes out of approximately 7300 when asking what to do about the janny question (archive)
I missed this when it happened 9 days ago, but it was pretty funny. This is a sub of 4.5 MILLION, that had a vote turnout of 7,300... and it seems that jannies still managed to brigade over half of that with burners with less than 200 karma. Very representative of the community! Truly a reddit-tier understanding of democracy.

Can't wait for the jannies of that sub to get replaced by reddit in a few days time

This is a dumb question and sorry if I missed something, but why is it some are still closed, why are reddit admins letting them get away with it?

There are thousands of faggots willing to take up the mop, unchain the double-doors and raise the flag, if you don't have their names already make a sub called like /r/moddraft or something and assign them random subs, they'll take them I promise.

Or is it something absolutely gay like "(even though we're going to crush it soon) youth of today need to get a good protest in! learn the value of protest! they can't use dem apps (and they never will again) they just like black people wantinem civil rights!"

Looks like Google is annoyed by Reddit

I think part of the problem is that Google defaults to Reddit and other sites that pay them as those sites are safe and generate revenue for them. Most shit is buried one Google because the sites don't pay for search ranking.

Oh, and because of how Google ranks things, one big factor being back links from news sites and text quantities, it's highly manipulated in that way as well. Almost all SEO is focused on getting backlinks, preferably from journo sources by means of things like HARO and more.

The state of the modern Internet is pretty fucked.

It's legit been a problem I've run into where I google something and get an answer that redirects to some explanation of why jannies are throwing a fit. Between Google and Reddit somebody should solve this. Google could de-rank reddit links that just go "Privated lol", or Reddit could just nut up and tell the volunteer hall monitors to stop fucking up their site.
Copy the url to the thread you want and then check it in archive.org (even if they're assholes) and archive.is.

You have a few reasons as i see it.
1: Reddit just hasn't gotten around to it yet, they went after the biggest subs first and will eventually go after the smaller subs overtime. (I think this is the most likely option)
2: Reddit is trying to build up a list of Mods who broke the rules so they can do a mass ban, weeding out all the offenders quickly and brutally. (would be funny, but doubt its the case.)
3: Reddit just doesn't care, if the sub isn't a major traffic generator they might not bother with kicking the door in, either wait for the mods to reopen or wait for the users to make a new sub. (probably also very likely.)

Try switching to Yandex. My top three results (with -reddit) are "how to get cat pee out of clothes, couches, towels, rugs, and carpet" (dengarden.com, an article), "how to clean cat vomit from carpet: 3 easy ways" (wikihow) and "how to clean old cat poop from carpet" (howtocleanstuff.com, another article). In fact the whole first page consists of articles and car forums (apparently people keep their cats in their cars!??).

My results without -reddit are the same except the first result is now some guy asking /r/cleaningtips. Clicked it, the board is open and the reply he got seems reasonable. The guy does tell him to rent a carpet shampooing machine rather than "just scrub really an awful lot" like the articles suggest, but that's just internet autism and I don't doubt using the correct tools instead of just muscle power is going to be more effective. There's also an article from medium, where a cleaning company links to a guide and suggests hiring them if you happen to be in Brisbane. An advertorial, but not one I mind. The link, though, points to their own site and happens to be dead, so that's sloppy. The guide itself was available on archive.org as recently as March and looks legit.

Did you guys know that the damage done during the George Floyd riots was all done by racist crackers invading diverse cities from other states (no point checking their license plates to see if that's true, they removed them all) and destroying things to make the protestors look bad?
The heckin' wholesome protestors had to set up vehicle barricades to prevent the mass murder of protestors!:
