Nah, the ultimate fuck you would be "this sub has been made private. would you like to see our cached copy of this page's content?"Google could de-rank reddit links that just go "Privated lol"
I've already been using the cached version of Reddit pages when I need to look something up.Nah, the ultimate fuck you would be "this sub has been made private. would you like to see our cached copy of this page's content?"
Just twist the knife a little more.
Don't we on the farms have an SRS horrors thread? I'm sure I've seen it in the list but I'm certainly not going to click on it.Somebody on Twitter linked to https://www.reddit.com/r/phallo/ which I never knew existed. And wish I still didn't.
Honestly a bit nauseated, and I thought I had lost that capacity a while ago about things seen on-line.
Don't look at the tranny SRS thread then. It's full of Zippertits, fake dick abominations & bloody axe wound horrors cut into men's crotches.Somebody on Twitter linked to https://www.reddit.com/r/phallo/ which I never knew existed. And wish I still didn't.

This another recent one? Fucking hell they're having a busy month. The cyber Stalker one (where Thomas was on the side of the average shrieking Reddit user), affirmative action and now shitting on cancelling student loans again. No one's talking about it, but Reddit's melting down since they won't be giving student loan gibs.

I'd have thought anyone calling this more relevant than affirmative action would be classed as racist.I knew this was the choice they were making because they decided to leave it to the last possible second before they went on vacation. You knew they were saving this for last because it was going to be so unpopular.

Can't wait for the jannies of that sub to get replaced by reddit in a few days time/r/Europe has discarded 4300 votes out of approximately 7300 when asking what to do about the janny question (archive)
I missed this when it happened 9 days ago, but it was pretty funny. This is a sub of 4.5 MILLION, that had a vote turnout of 7,300... and it seems that jannies still managed to brigade over half of that with burners with less than 200 karma. Very representative of the community! Truly a reddit-tier understanding of democracy.

They already bent the knee. They're back open. Can't wait for the jannies of that sub to get replaced by reddit in a few days time
Looks like Google is annoyed by Reddit
I think part of the problem is that Google defaults to Reddit and other sites that pay them as those sites are safe and generate revenue for them. Most shit is buried one Google because the sites don't pay for search ranking.
Oh, and because of how Google ranks things, one big factor being back links from news sites and text quantities, it's highly manipulated in that way as well. Almost all SEO is focused on getting backlinks, preferably from journo sources by means of things like HARO and more.
The state of the modern Internet is pretty fucked.
Copy the url to the thread you want and then check it in archive.org (even if they're assholes) and archive.is.It's legit been a problem I've run into where I google something and get an answer that redirects to some explanation of why jannies are throwing a fit. Between Google and Reddit somebody should solve this. Google could de-rank reddit links that just go "Privated lol", or Reddit could just nut up and tell the volunteer hall monitors to stop fucking up their site.
You have a few reasons as i see it.This is a dumb question and sorry if I missed something, but why is it some are still closed, why are reddit admins letting them get away with it?
There are thousands of faggots willing to take up the mop, unchain the double-doors and raise the flag, if you don't have their names already make a sub called like /r/moddraft or something and assign them random subs, they'll take them I promise.
Or is it something absolutely gay like "(even though we're going to crush it soon) youth of today need to get a good protest in! learn the value of protest! they can't use dem apps (and they never will again) they just like black people wantinem civil rights!"

Try switching to Yandex. My top three results (with -reddit) are "how to get cat pee out of clothes, couches, towels, rugs, and carpet" (dengarden.com, an article), "how to clean cat vomit from carpet: 3 easy ways" (wikihow) and "how to clean old cat poop from carpet" (howtocleanstuff.com, another article). In fact the whole first page consists of articles and car forums (apparently people keep their cats in their cars!??).Result 1: Ching Chong Rug Cleaners Amazon dot com. (advertisement)

Wait, so a group in power held an election and then when the results were unfavorable to them, found a way to discount the majority of voters who didn't agree with their policies?
