I've got no stats, so I'm not sure of figures, but I imagine using the egg from the woman carrying the child is most common, for faggots.
If an embryo is put into a woman with no genetic attachment to it, it increases the miscarriage rate, and can make the woman more prone to complications over the course of the pregnancy.

IIRC /r/conservative was a hotbed of anti-Trump RINO nonsense in the 2016 primaries. Maybe that has something to do with it?
I suppose on some level there's also a reluctance to abandon one of the most visited websites in the USA. They've got pro-religious subreddits, pro-gun ownership subreddits, etc., as well. Not saying you're not right in your criticism, just kind of spit-balling why they might be there.

That "for whatever reason" is usually rich career women who waited for their eggs to go bad before deciding that they actually do want to procreate. Or for it to be "too dangerous" for them to carry a fetus, i.e. they're too vain to let their bodies be "ruined" by the process. Think Paris Hilton or that Indian hag that married the one Jonas Brother. Hell, Grimes isn't even that old but decided to rent out poor women for her second and third kids because the pregnancy for her first was ~too hard~ mostly because she's too dedicated to being a drug-using ana-chan to make herself healthy enough to carry a pregnancy that won't almost kill her.
I used to be pretty liberal about surrogacy, at least in that I didn't think much of it and figured it was people's personal business, but after seeing the consistent trends in how it's used, I've come to the conclusion that it's an abomination based around selfishness and vanity. Even among heterosexuals. Though homos do tend to be a lot more flippant and entitled about it.

It was actually a religious commandment in the Old Testament to give your deceased brother's wife a child. The sin of Onan, in particular, wasn't masturbation but instead that he defied this commandment and pulled out, spilling his seed on the ground.
And this is a practice so vile that it should not be endorsed by law or enforced as a normal contract would be, because it's evil and against public policy. Those who engage in this repellent practice should be penalized by losing their "investment" in buying a goddamn baby.
