I wouldn't call soldiers nazis like when America was in a war, the soldiers don't change political affiliation depending on whose in power. Especially if comparing to Elon musk status.

The funny thing about this is that Redditors know about it - whenever denazification or the futility of crying about Nazism is brought up, they always screech "muh Paperclip" in an attempt to suggest that Nazism lives on and that the Soviet Union was wholesome chungus 100 since it killed all Nazis and didn't collaborate with them at all.

The Soviets had their own version of Paperclip, by the way - it was called Operation Osoaviakhim.

After looking at the banned subs, I'm thinking they were using some sort of AI tool (ones that had "abuse" in the name were hit despite not being NSFW) and are doing so because they're nervous behind the scenes after the incident with WhitePeopleTwitter.

That SubredditDrama thread linked earlier is amazing - people think Elon's in the Reddit wires and that this is all Project 2025. If the mods actually are forced to follow their own rules it would improve the site.
