people who say they're "young at heart" always make me wince. playing with legos and duplos and still expecting mommy to make you a sammich doesn't make you "young at heart" it makes you childish. videogames and cartoon shows aren't inherently childish anymore and neither are dolls (huge community made just to customise dolls. this guy is just mad someone told him to quit eating some play-doh.

at first i wanted to contradict this notion, but when you look at mainstream (pop) culture it's pretty easy to see why people get ideas like that
i guess when you think your only options are either drinking and hookup culture, or manchild consoomerism, the manchild route doesn't seem that bad by comparison?

Literally everything you do in satisfactory you can do in factorio if you want. You're not forced to make spreadsheets in factorio anymore than you are in satisfactory.

Don't blame the game because you're too retarded to use its optional advanced features.

I wonder how many of these types of Reddit posters are victims of helicopter parents who never let them make any decisions, never taught them any life skills, didn't let them out of the house and hang out with anyone or go to actual parties because it's "too dangerous", let them on the computer all day as a babysitter and now wonder why they have mentally stunted manchildren as adults.

I mean really, no one gives a shit if you're into these hobbies as an adult. I saw some guy in good shape with his girlfriend buying a Funkopop at the store recently. The difference is you're also expected to have your shit together as an adult and can't base your entire life around childish hobbies. If you want to collect shit or whatever then who cares, collecting plastic and playing videogames and watching Disney is mainstream for adults these days. People would be more concerned about you spending all day on Reddit, being obese and refusing to learn any skills and improve your life than you collecting Amiibos or whatever.
