Without fail, the redditors who believe that homeschooling your kids will make them book-dunb and socially retarded are invariably the same ones who admit they haven't read a book in years, can't manage a relationship, and share "science articles" with a sample size of 20 as long as it supports their confirmation bias. But avoiding public schools (where you have an 85% chance of dying in a school shooting, apparently) will set your kid up for ruin!!!

And this is a qualified teacher, no less. I'll be honest, 2 out of every 3 education major I've met is a fucking idiot, but isn't a common millennial gripe that public schools suck because classrooms are too crowded and teachers can't teach to each kid's strength? What can be better than fully personalized teaching?

Every homeschooled child I knew growing up was significantly smarter than the public school kids I knew. There have also been studies done showing they score higher in standardized testing. The only real issues are becoming socially stunted from not interacting with people your age or if you have super hardcore fundamentalist Christian parents who teach you shit like Dinosaurs not being real.

There's no reason to be positive or proud about being overweight. You are unhealthy and newsflash; people think that's gross. People pick on you for it because they want you to get better and be healthier, it's social pressure. Rather than cry, how about do something about it? People who don't take care of themselves are unattractive to most. Overweight people always try to say "Oh but I only eat once a day" or some thing to try and shift the blame from themselves, which is total bullshit. You are not just "born that way" or "big boned" or "my genetics make me fat". You are fat because you are in a constant calorie surplus- because you eat too much. Your body does not defy the laws of thermodynamics.

I've had fat fucks try to give me shit for being thin and healthy, talking about "skinny privilege" and shit like that like they think I owe them something or me taking care of myself is somehow an attack on them... because it's all about them, right? They're full of themselves, no pun intended. They try to make you feel bad but it doesn't work, if anything it just makes them look like a fucking loser.

PSA: Don't ever apologize for being better than someone, whether it be in your physical condition or something else. They are just jealous.
