I'm convinced everyone submitting posts on reddit now is in the same vein at the constant baiting shitposters on 4chan. Only difference is the commenters on reddit actually believe the shitposts.

Years ago a friend of mine quit his job and decided to be a hobby farmer. He legitimately thought it was easy, and he was going to grow artisanal produce and sell it at farm markets.

He was back at work within 3 years.

It is interesting to think that for most of human history more than 80% of the population was involved in agriculture, but now almost no one knows how to farm. I sure as fuck would have no idea where to start.

That was actually impressive - they did it fully manually using a co-ordinated discord server and no bots.
The final result of /r/place 2023 before the "whiteout":

They did actually manage to write "Fuck Spez" in big letters, but because they insisted on colouring in with flags and MLP pixel art, you can't really read it zoomed out.
However when the "whiteout" started (the only colour becomes white, and the canvas closes when every single pixel is coloured in white), they did manage to get one last scream in.

I don't know much on vaginas either, but at least I know that switching from anal to vaginal sex without washing it, is a sure way to get an UTI.

Theres a difference between commercial farming and small scale home garden farms (or urban farms). I think a long time people just had small gardens and someone would be like 'Well I have like 6 chickens, they lay eggs, Ill trade for your like bushel of zucchini, Marys got some tomatoes' whatever, shit like that.

Also a lot of it Im sure was based around shit like seasonal produce and being pragmatic about what youre going to get, when, and following the seasons.
