On the topic of LBJ he also hugely escalated the Vietnam war far more than any other president sending tens of thousands of young American men to die in a proxy war for what ultimately amounted to nothing. It's also pretty clear from what people have said about how he spoke in private he didn't view blacks as equals at all which makes all his civil rights work just come off as disingenuous. You can argue that doesn't matter because he still passed those acts but to me it makes him come off as a hypocrite.

Yeah but he gave the blacks civil rights, nevermind that they were going to get them by the 60s regardless of if Nixon had won the 1960 election or Kennedy and Johnson did. Never mind that Civil Rights were all a massive political ploy to get a massive voting demographic on their side, never mind that LBJ was a serial sexual creep who flashed him female aides.

Call Kennedy a manwhore all you want, at least he was actually fucking women.

I'm actually shocked Woodrow Wilson is still on their chart giving the massive (Highly justifiable) hateboner redditors have for Wilson for the wrong reasons. That fucking piece of shit did more harm to America than even FDR.

Since I've already derailed this thread with LBJ talk, I may as well take the opportunity to describe how he earned his silver star. He always had political ambitions and was a professional ladder climber. During WWII, he understood that being considered a war hero was a big boost in political circles. The issue was he was a pencil pusher stuck in the backlines. While this job may be necessary, there's not much glamor or medals in it. To remedy this, he accompanied a B-26 crew as an observer over a Japanese occupied port. During the attack, the plane he was aboard had to turn back due to mechanical issues. On the return trip, it was attacked by enemy fighters and shot up pretty bad. Upon returning home, LBJ was recommended for a silver star by none other than Douglas Macarthur. He managed to get this medal for simply sitting his ass in a plane that was attacked, while the rest of the crew that actually brought the crippled plane home got nothing.

The Chinese government is wise to keep their billion of retards isolated from the rest of the world. Had the Indians been kept behind firewall the internet would have been a much nicer place. I remember reading somewhere that ~900 Million Indians access the internet every day as of 2024. That's like 1 out of 5 people online is Indian. The very thought sends shivers down my spine yet here we are, it's real.
