I'm not actually surprised by this. It's absolutely ridiculous to need to put up a bond of the entire amount when it's something insane like this. It's basically an invitation to corrupt judges just to set the damages award so high the defendant can't conceivably pay it to fuck them over and essentially block them appealing because they won't have the money to put up the bond, and once all their shit is seized, won't be able to afford counsel.

It makes a mockery of the right of appeal.

The amounts of the judgments in both the fraud case and the E. Jean Carroll case are also so exorbitant it almost automatically raises serious questions as to the methodology used to reach them that is worthy of appellate review.

/r/Law was particularly salty. Much like /r/Science, the userbase is completely illiterate in the subject matter. They think that Trump "got away with it" because even NYC Democrat judges realised this would go to the 4/3 SCOTUS as an 8th Amendment violation.

I'm sure if they seized every red cent they'd still deny legal aid as well because technically the bond is still his asset and therefore fuck you.

Back when I was a redditard, I used to browse those subs a lot. Maybe it's my rose tinted glasses, but the place used to be a lot more fun when real genuine wehraboos roamed the internet. Right around the time wojak spam became the popular thing to do it started shifting to grasping at imaginary Nazis. Also a bunch of commies invaded and made everything way less fun than it already was.

If I was going to put a start date to Marx's relevancy, I personally wouldn't pick the year Lenin took over a country by specifically ignoring everything he said.

Obvious revenge fantasy (seriously what is it with redditors and obsessing over revenge on bullies?). Gotta love how he claims to have gotten away with it because "there were no witnesses" but also claims he tried to drown the teachers who tried to save the bully.
Also if the teachers disliked him enough to turn a blind eye to him being bullied, then why didn't they try to get him in trouble for drowning the bully? surely they would leap at the opportunity to get rid of him. The story has more holes than swiss cheese.

Also there are quie a few stories of redditors literally poisoning shitty roommates/food thieves. Some even go as far as using antifreeze t spike their food

Yeah fair enough but the citation data, and the historical record don't lie, Marx was barely cited or even talked about until 1917. I don't get why this is controversial Marx was an idiot and a easily debunked fool who died a failure only to be rescued from the ash heap of history as an ideological weapon; Rosa Luxembourg agrees with me:

Most redditors think of themselves as victims oppressed by rest of the world , but at same time they are secretly superior than people oppressing them.
If you think about it large part of media popular on Reddit can be seen as revenge stories.
For example how many capeshit movies can be summarized as nice guy™️ is being oppressed by bad guy™️, but nice guy ™️one day get super powers allowing him to beat up bad guy™️ who is secretly super villain.

To add to what you said they're in this mindset all day long and will look for little microvictimizations to give them feels too. A chud looked at you funny, a GIANT and LOUD pickup truck drove by (drove by a chud) and scared you. A chud at the store is walking down the left side of the aisle and by that I mean MY RIGHT, THEIR LEFT. The Spanish speaking chuds are outside your apartment window with weed eaters AT TEN FUCKING AM waking you up, I bet they sure feel manly with their manly noisy tools (numero uno of the day).
