I wonder if OpenAI realizes how much of the training data they get from reddit is advocating for killing people lmao.

I think we all know that feel

America already has a gay militia, we call it the United States Army

The immigration situation is also extremly bad in iran. The iranian people have mostly left islam after living under a theocracy, so the islamic republic imports a lot of afghans to come and live in iran. The afghans are super religiously radical and have 8 kids. The iranian government also gives a lot of aid to afghans while neglecting iranians. This led to a lot of iranians wanting to stop all immigration from afghanistan.

Does Lemmy stuff go here too? We got a gamergate crossover.
Let me think about this for a sec, in the most charitable way imaginable.

IF this group is actually geared around "review bombing" games, is that unethical/something that should be formally curtailed?

With the absolutely insane way video game budgets have ballooned in the last decade, I'd argue that the industry really is a zero-sum game, and every AAA release represents at least one other game that didn't get made. When budgets start pushing towards a billion dollars, you bet your ass an editorial decision gets made about what the one game that studio is releasing this cycle is and what it's going to include.

So when those games don't sell, the bean counters might conclude that it's a general slump in the industry. "Review bombing" a game you didn't buy (which, I'm pretty sure is not something you can even do on steam) signals "yes, customers are here, they're ready to spend money, just not on this shit." A game that sells 50,000 copies and gets 100 mostly positive reviews sends a different message about consumer confidence than that same game selling 50,000 copies and getting 1,000 mostly negative reviews.

I don't know why I'm even writing this, the opposition are literally just communists caterwauling about any opposition to them performing aufheben der kultur.

That's actually really interesting. You wouldn't expect Iran of all places to have to deal with rapeugees and cultural enrichment.

Vegan redditor compares slavery to consuming animal products.
The main issue with vegans is they have this weird delusional view of the world where egalitarianism is taken to the extreme and applied to non humans where animal and human lives are equal in value and that's just not true. A cows life is not equal to mine. It's absolutely insulting for you to sit here and pretend that a feral dogs life has the same value as a human beings. There is a hierarchy.

some vegans circlejerk themselves so deep into the rabbit hole that they stop distinguishing between animals and humans.
i'm sure you've heard "humans are basically just hairless monkeys" memes, but these guys unironically do think like that.
They even have a term for it called "specieism" or however it's spelled. Where they think it's wrong to treated animals differently from humans or other animals.

Get ready to political sperg tag me but I can't help but think a whole lot of the crazy vegan stories are propaganda from the meat industry / government.

After the truth came out how far the U.S. government went to 'save' the milk industry with fake psuedo science, which led to global over-importance of milk in diets, and the even more batshit insanity they do to promote/protect corn (and high fructose corn syrup) I refuse to believe they wouldn't go to even greater lengths to protect the meat industry as a whole considering the US is the highest meat consuming country per capita in the world.

I'm not and will never be a vegetarian but 20% of US meat is never even sold, just wasted at stock, with an unknowable amount wasted post-sale. Most vegetarians I've seen aren't the 'end all meat consumption forever' type these dumb stories get made about but instead the 'we should lessen the amount of meat waste / consumption', which is what I think they're really afraid of gaining momentum, so better just psyops people into thinking every vegan wants to personally execute you in your home and turn it into an animal sanctuary for snails or some shit.

counterpoint: redditors are titanic retards who have been conditioned to demand violence against anyone who disagrees with them and say retarded shit no normal person would because they're redditors

i thought that was argentina?
"According to UN Food and Agriculture Organization data the United States and Australia are the top of the global meat-eating league with more than 120 kg consumed per capita"

A fair point but I also think 95% of reddit posts are fake to begin with.
