So is Reddit just the new 4Chan?

•Someone new comes out every 2 weeks to claim they worked on a CIA alien project

•A concerning amount of the users are into lolicon

Yeah this shit is just 4Chan for the new generation, I guess since all of 4Chan’s user base is now adult men in their 30s-40s the younger generation needs somewhere to go now that they’ve given up hope of anything

Reddit was seen like that when if first started, with subreddits like /r/Jailbait, /r/watchpeopledie, /r/coontown ect. They used to have some funny subreddits like /r/fatpeoplehate and things like that, but after they started banning subs that got them bad press reddit really started to suck.

Reddit is the other side of the coin of 4 chan. They'll never admit it. They say 4chan and Kiwi Farms are full of doxers but they're happy to dox and harass anyone they see as on "the wrong side of history. They don't under stand that the "wrong side" of history is determined by who writes the history books. At least 4chan is honest about it's racism.

In the old days, it was Ron Paul everywhere you looked. Today, they don't distinguish libertarians from Nazis.

It's hard to believe that there was a time when Reddit had an unshakable commitment to free speech. They basically wouldn't censor anything. Today it's one of the most controlled and ban-hammered social sites on the Internet.

Seems to be he completely failed his objective with the kid now living with his mother (and getting back all his devices) alongside the usual divorce parenting situation. Either way, that kid is still going to have extreme resentment issues and likely is having a lot of mixed feelings, good job getting him therapy (which is more libfaggot shit). Absolute failure. Didnt bother reading through every paragraph anyways.

He also does seem excessively histrionic. Why keep defending your boyfriend who goes to the gym 4 hours a day? Especially if he had an accident five-ish years ago... I smell something about actual physical therapy if it was social life destroying.

4chan isn't honest about racism, plenty of boards randomly ban you for saying racist stuff. Usually specific threads babysat by trannies.

Reddit's flip side is
Kiwi farms. The upvote/react system creates a similar feedback system to Reddit. It does all the same stuff the bad parts of Reddit do and says 'we only document' as they document a dox not put together before. Kiwis will deny it, but SRS is very similar to the farms.

I like the farms, but many users lie to themselves about the nature of this site the same way redditors and anons do.

Removed from the other sub. Throwaway bc I dont want anyone to know about this... I'm a newish homeowner, 40f. Bought my first house about 3 years ago. I love it but I constantly get people knocking on the door selling roofs, windows, whatever. No soliciting signs don't help. Interestingly though, I have never had jehovah's witnesses come by.

So this morning I was getting ready for the day, doing my hair and makeup in a towel when someone knocks. Sometimes I don't answer but I was near the door so I open it. These 2 guys immediately see me in my towel and say "oh sorry..." but don't leave. So, I, annoyed, ask "what do you want?". They seem a bit flustered and say "we want to talk to you about scripture, we are jw's". I really don't know what came over me, but without hesitation I say "oh! Jws!", open my towel and give them a little shimmy. One looks real upset and turns his head, the younger one looks shocked and takes a sec to turn off my porch.

In the moment I think I'm hilarious and point one for feminist anarchy...but after a bit I'm feeling really guilty. It's in my core not to disrespect people's religious beliefs, and I would never have done something like this if they weren't in my personal space. Is this an ah thing to do? I'm morally struggling

Also for reference this woman is about 10-9 years younger than my mom.

Something i have noticed is that while most of reddit is very woke, if you go to the subreddit of a particular city/community, it's the opposite, they are tough on crime/anti immigration by the most part. It seems a perfect example of hypocrecy. If someone else has to deal with it redditors are progressive , if it affects them directly, they are more conservative.
