Project 2025 discourse is the funniest shit ever. I didn't pay attention to Qanon because I didn't really care about politics then, but good god if it was anything like what Project 2025 discourse then I wish I did pay attention. You can literally claim anything about it and people will instantly believe you no matter how dumb it is. Imagine how funny it would be if Trump won and liberals did their own January 6th because they thought that they wouldn't be able to jerk off to loli hentai anymore.

It's not extreme in the least, but it does lean into a few policies that have fallen out of favor with GOP voters over the past decade. It's a call back to a time when Republicans were more religious and didn't mind government bloat as long as it served them. The vast majority of GOP politicians that would normally support something like this in its totality have already retired, died, or been primaried.

r/unitedkingdom jannies nuke almost the entire comment section on a post about the UK banning rapists self-identifying as women. Sub is an absolute joke and has been for years now. It has some of the most heavy-handed moderation on all of reddit. Again, I ask why do people continue using subs like this or try to discuss anything remotely controversial on reddit? Unfortunately, pullpush has been down for about a week now, so I can't share the removed comments. Hopefully they got captured, and hopefully reddit didn't kill pullpush as it's the only practical tool we have left to hold jannies and redditors accountable.

The joke of trying to discuss trans-related issues on the UK main subs. 85%, 79%, and 63% of the comments nuked across two different general UK subs. Most of these comment removals are manual, not auto-removals, fyi:





As someone who has followed the UK main subs for awhile, seemingly all of them have gotten even more trigger-happy over the past few months in regards to censoring trans discussions. And both sides, TERF and trans-activist, are getting heavily censored equally, which is even weirder when you consider reddit is so pro-trans. Basically the UK jannies keep pretending to allow discussions of the subject only to undermine it by sabotaging every post on the issue by censoring the majority of the comments.

We really are starting to witness absurd sitewide levels of censorship on reddit. And it will certainly continue to get worse like it always has. And continue to be both equally parts entertaining and infuriating. But reddit in its current form doesn't feel sustainable. I think the cracks are starting to show. Eventually the reddit stakeholders are going to have to confront the elephant in the room before the jannies run the platform completely into the ground.

I used to use Reddit 5 years ago (during the Keanu Chungus 100 and BLM ACAB etc era). The way that the politisperging became a thing on totally irrelevant subs and how much the place was censored is what made me leave.
