So did she not tell her kid "fire hot" at toddler age like a normal person. Our kids learned that when they would be outside with us BBQing. It's very easy to teach a toddler that fire is hot and not to be played with. At about age 10 we started teaching them the right way to use fire with helping with BBQ or the burn pit. Never had problems with them burning stuff.

Sounds like this kid has more problems then not understanding the dangers with fire. They don't need to be grounded and shown PSAs about burn victims. Maybe doing shit like that is why this bitches kid is burning paper in the bathroom.

I was a little pyro. We had a fireplace so they said "you like starting fires, you get to start the fire in the fireplace every night this whole winter."

Newsflash: kids do irrational and stupid shit on the regular. You can't always just say "don't do that" and they won't, with the exception I guess of your kids.
