With the re-releases of The Sims 1 and 2 being the usual glitchy, buggy crashfests as expected by EA, and some new bugs were introduced that weren't in the old releases, there's been more activity in the subreddits for The Sims 2, but the mods for r/Sims2 enacted these overly strict rules:

Someone got banned from that subreddit for posting a picture of a toddler from the Ottomas family, even though it was tagged as NSFW, because supposedly it violated the unnatural/creepy looks rule, even though the Ottomas twins, when they're born, do have "non-attractive" looks (4th picture below):

There are also multiple subreddits for The Sims games, i.e. r/Sims2 and r/TheSims2, with different moderators because they disagree on how to moderate the subs.
And those power tripping mods would get roasted the fucked out of by MATY, had either they posted back in MATY's active times, or if MATY were still active and thriving today.
