I know its reddit but it seems kind of weird that their whole schtick is being like the type of HARDCORE BROS that love trump and are absolutely despised by the left yet they seems to be a lot of out of nowherehate for trump and elon which is at odds with everything else they post.

It's Wallstreetbets, they gamble on the stock market, and given that it is your average redditor investor, they don't know how to hedge, nor do they really short to profit on a market drop, which means that since, unlike in his first term, Trump now has much more of a disregard for the stock market despite the pleadings of Corporate America in his policy decisions a bunch of them probably saw their portfolios and gambles go the wrong way.

When I still had an account roughly a year ago it was bad and I could block shit that was irrelevant, but now it's abysmal when I open it up without filters as over half of the posts are astroturfed anti-Elon/Trump posts in subreddits completely irrelevant to politics.

And here I used to browse the gardening and my country's subreddit despite muting most political subs this shit keeps following you, if only they could add a filter to automatically skip political posts entirely it wouldn't be so insufferable.

As I noticed that subreddits with 65k followers had the exact copy pasted video seen on a subreddit with 4.2 million followers yet both have around 70k upvotes you just know this shit isn't organic in the least.

In this case, there is a team of volunteers who spam social media with posts that specifically promote Kamala. They then have other users pretend to be random individuals who just happened across the post and decided to comment. It’s no different than a shady company paying a team to write a bunch of fake Amazon reviews about their product to make it appear to be a better and more popular product than it is.
