I would’ve honestly thought these people would hate Amber Herd, if only because of the fact that her antics water down the testimony and experiences of actual domestic abusive victims.

Also if a subreddit approves who can use or comment on it, the people there are the most sensitive pussies alive. You already have downvotes to push any comment your hive mind disagrees with to the bottom of every thread in addition to Karma and account age restrictions.
Behold the Reddit "liberal feminist"

One of the biggest things that got me to stop using Reddit was the complete lack of shame anybody had on there. There were multiple times where I’d click on someone’s profile out of curiosity (keep in mind most of these were profiles on totally normal subreddits) and immediately be bombarded with the most embarrassing shit ever. Usually porn. Or extremely revealing advice threads like “Ladies of Reddit, would you consider having sex with a 5’2” 300 pound gamer who some have rudely described as smelling like ‘raw sewage’?”

It’s one thing to be a porn addict who spends all day on Reddit, it’s another thing shit where you eat and use the same account that you use to for your hobbies to post and comment on fetish porn.

Nut job jannie of an anti-Tesla (and pro unironic fedposting) subreddit calls for violence, gets post nuked by Reddit admin

Sub is now closed post:

...and a day later it's back open

If I were to guess instead of moderating his calls for blood after Reddit stepped in he decided he was going to take the whole sub down with him. Once it became clear they'd just get a different jannie to take his place he caved in to admin. Pathetic.

Here's a weird one.

Guy claims his relative died standing up.

This is impossible for numerous reasons. The legs no longer support weight after death. It's the same reason you can't sleep standing up. Also, even if you do buy into the "coin lands on its side" theory of serendipitous perfect balance at the moment of death, the fluids in your body start settling almost immediately. The perfect balance would be interrupted within minutes.

Never in history has there ever been proof of someone sleeping or dying standing up.

Regardless, every redditor on the planet knows someone who did.

These are just a few of countless posts.

It's such a strange thing to lie about. Like, obviously it's just karma farming, but they're blatant lies about something politically neutral enough that you can get a real answer just by googling it. Yet Reddit is just eating every one of these stories up. It's so bizarre.

I found something very funny last night and it just got funnier this morning. I stumbled upon a gamingcirclejerk thread where the header was a meme that was very obviously an X-ray of Donald Trump's head and the attempted assassination. Blaming him for the price of the Switch or whatever. This was the mod comment

"Look we don't condone violence on this sub, but the mod team firmly believes that if the assassin was successful we would all be better off" Talk about mixed messaging.

By the way, what kind of fucking moron actually thought, for even a second, that "In Minecraft" was a shield against the FBI coming after you for threatening the president?

Anyway, so I go to check on the thread today and

Well I guess that mod comment didn't help very much. In fact it quite possibly made the situation worse.
The whole "un minecraft/gta/*insert game here* has been a thing for a while, not just on reddit. I usually see people say that when it comes to true crime stuff on YouTube to avoid a warning or ban.

Trying to find normalcy on reddit is the equivalent of seeking someone sane in a mental asylum.
I could deal with the weirdos if they weren't retards. An autist that's super into a hobby might tell me something interesting about the lore or the timeline, but instead it's a bunch of weirdos who can't get the basics of the hobby right but all somehow agree.
