UK Redditor posts obviously inflammatory question about how murica bad, because his own country is doing so great right now.
Surprisingly, most of the comments are telling him that life is good. You've got lifelong Americans telling him to touch grass, immigrants telling him that Americans have no idea what a real dictatorship looks like, and so forth.
And then there's this guy.
It's such a striking comment for a so many reasons.
First, you've got the Predditor Roundup:
- Older gay man whose entire identity is how gay he is
- Addicted to outrage bait
- Describes himself as empathetic
- "Frequently" has trans students
- Knows a Very Real illegal immigrant with an IQ of 5000
- FLORIDA BAD (and yet I choose to live there)
But what really stood out to me is how he accidentally told on himself. In his own words, life is fine. Nothing bad has happened to anyone. Yet they're constantly afraid, and it's because they watch the news. He said this, and yet he's still not aware of the connection. It's mystifying.
He's "very worried". His
grooming victims students are "terrified and heartbroken". His non-fictional architect dreamer friend is "terrified". Nothing but fear in these people's lives over things that they're being told will definitely happen for real, just like they were told in 2016. It's pathetic. It's so pathetic and on the nose I thought it was a troll post, but I checked out his post history, and yikes. Yikes indeed.
