Aren't these the same people missing up to 85% of their brains? I guess Roko's Basilisk is a genuine danger, for retards.

Another reason why Reddit niggers are low-IQ kikeroids. They are too retarded to do simple critical thinking on their own, inclined to popular opinions if a certain CMV post gets updoots— they will only change their opinion if enough Reddit niggers agreed. Reddit is a hive mind of low-IQ cesspit and this is another reason to hate and laugh at Reddit niggers taking Ls while being experimented like nigger cattles.

I mean, reddit has self-selected people high in agreeability. I guarantee you could get a bot to cite enough bogus scientific research it just made up to get any redditor to agree to anything, especially considering anything posted on reddit has to conform to reddits ToS, and Reddit ToS basically encourages group think. Do you think any of those threads were something as spicy as, "The 19th ammendment was a mistake, and here is my evidence"? Of course not, that'd earn you an IP ban in milliseconds. Anything you could post there to persuade a redditor already has to be within the acceptable parameters of the average redditor's thoughts. It is a hive. A biomechanical Large Language Model. Anyone who would tell you to go fuck yourself has given up on maintaining a reddit account (aside from duplicitous data miners like the researchers from the University of Zurich).

Redditors, angry that their comments in circlejerk about the current thing subreddit #9845734 could easily be replaced by robots, suddenly become experts in AI and research ethics or something.
Using this logic placebo groups should be told they're being given the placebo in medical research because transparency 🧠

Not the heckin' publicorino! No, I'm not mad that reddit and other companies do this same sort of testing all the time without anyone's knowledge or consent. You can't use gmail... because you just can't!

No bad actors have ever thought to bot reddit before!

WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE SUBREDDIT RULES + "I am not a lawyer" (trust me buddy, we all already knew)

A LLM pretending to be PART OF A MARGINALIZED COMMUNITY (read: 85% of humanity). That's too far!

there's no claim of "6x the baseline" success rate here? though i might just be blind

If they had any semblance of balls, they would expose all the researchers and all their public data, house address, university office numbers, photos, etc.
But redditors don't have that, so get fucked lol.

TL;DR
Terminally online faggots with no inner voice can easily be manipulated to take on the opinions of those around hem to fit in.

TL;DR 2:
Terminally online faggots are angry when this is pointed out to them.

My god, what a whiny bunch of faggots. Reddit has been unusable for over a decade now due to real subversion campaigns. All this study did was show that this sort of thing has been possible, and very likely, happening all along.

So what I'm gathering is just experiment on reddit and don't tell them? They clearly wouldn't figure it and there'd be no screeching

Lmaooo... how did they not see this coming?

For six years my limited Reddit activity has been exclusive to r/MetalDetecting and r/TreasureHunting and r/Mycology, and for six years I've had zero regrets.

Any thread involving politics, social issues, or emotional venting inevitably becomes a Petri dish of new mental illness combinations and retardation.

There are only 2 mutually exclusive reasonable conclusions to come from this.
1. AI has finally been proven to pass the Turing test.
2. Redditors are not smart enough to pass the Turing test
An element of the Turing test that often gets overlooked is the tester is supposed to be someone intelligent capable of performing one, not a nonfunctioning retard who would get in an argument with a '90s era babblebot.
