Some expired visa retard opening a MAGA themed cafe and then attempting to commit a marriage greencard scam and getting deported isn't even a "leopards ate my face" situation, though. The entire point of "hurr durr leopards ate my face" is that it's about someone voting for something ("the leopards eating faces party") and then facing negative repercussions from that vote because they thought they would somehow be immune from the policy because they voted for it (their face was eaten).

That's literally not applicable here. He didn't vote Trump into office and his only interactions with le MAGAs seems to be... trying to grift money out of them.

Trying to illegally fleece money out of Trump voters and then being deported for trying to fraud your way out of an expired visa isn't the win redditors think it is. That would be grounds for deportation long before Trump was even in office.

I keep seeing this story on Reddit. Redditors are creaming themselves because the narrative involves a Trump loving immigrant businessman being arrested. However, not only is reality different, it wouldn't surprise me he would had been arrested in Kamala was in office. The only difference is you'd be hearing crickets because they don't give a fuck about immigrants, legal or illegal. Well, unless they're cleaning their homes or other blue collar jobs.

This is a great point and something I didn't even think of. He was here on a visa and not a US citizen he literally could not have voted for Trump so this isn't even a "YOU GOT WHAT YOU VOTED FOR CHUD!!!" situation he just used Trump's named for his restaurant as a grift and redditors are pretending like he voted for his own deportation. God I hate them.

It was a really good idea, though. Perhaps the federal authority not explicitly in the Constitution should have been more limited in scope because of the unforeseen consequences, much like the repellent Wickard v. Filburn decision.
