True, it's funny in a sort of absurdist meta way.

I doubt they're laughing in an absurdist meta way though, they're laughing because they think it's an own and commentary on the factual fact that George Floyd was a saint who was martyred and not a transparently drug addicted thug.

It literally makes no sense. The "joke" is trying to parody right-wingers who pointed out Floyd had high possibly lethal levels of fent in his body during his "murder" but Charlie was not a drug user and was not high on multiple drugs when he was shot. It's completely nonsensical. It's like someone looked at a RW Floyd meme and just tried to copy it 1 for 1 and tacking on a shitty joke about his neck.

He doesn't have to have done drugs for it to make sense. The joke is that someone died amid neck-related violence, other people think it wasn't the cause, and now applying it to another guy being shot in the neck is absurd. Because you're apparently autists, I will note that comedy is often derived from unexpected or excessive misinterpretations of situations. What you're suggesting - guy on drugs dies, next guy dies under exact same circumstances - isn't even a joke, it's just two things happening.
