The only saving grace to this is, possibly, other potential shooters see that they won't get showered in glory for committing violence. The left, wildly, disowns their shooters while lionizing the violence itself.

I'm pretty far-right myself and I think Luigi did nothing wrong. United are a company of damned thieves abusing the system and using vast fortunes to keep the broken system broken. Everyone in their executive suite is ethically responsible for a great number of excess deaths, all for the pursuit of impossible, unsustainable perpetual growth for the (((shareholders))) in the face of all reason. The only justice we can expect for a group of deeply politically-entrenched interlopers in the healthcare process is vigilante justice.

Well that doesn't really refute my point. There's a decent amount of evidence pointing to the fact that Luigi wasn't /their guy/, but they try to own him anyway. It's, again, embracing the violence and alienating the shooter.

This is an anti-Jewish conspiracy theory and is a bannable offense on this subreddit and also a violation of the TOS.

If you want to talk about how Zionists, who are not necessarily Jewish, are over-represented in ownership of the media, you are going to have to make clear that is what you are saying, because being vague about it means that you want people to know what you mean without saying it, which shows you are being anti-Jewish. Somehow, way too many people seem to think we allow this. We do not. Being anti Israel is not the same as being anti Jewish. Don't be those people who are spreading antisemitic conspiracy theories. It's not edgy or cool, it's just bigoted.

The Tetris guy was given a IBM PC as a reward from the Politburo for his role in Tetris. A ordinary computer that was outdated and normie in the west, but in the USSR it was top of the line.

Soviet computer industry was so kneecapped by central planning their few factories for such usually had to start by building their own power plants so they could guarantee that they would have stable electricity supplies. They would have computer classes in the 80s where they would do tests for the students by having them write programs on paper because there was no way to supply enough PCs for a entire class. And of course the idea of "don't copy that floppy" was extremely strong in the USSR because the Government was scared shitless of the idea of entire books worth of censored info being passed around that there was a tight control on TYPEWRITERS!

That's right, to buy a typewriter you had to go through a process eerily similar to buying a gun. Explain why you wanted one, have a serial number on it and such. All this to stop samizdats (underground illegal newspapers and zines) from spreading. Computers were a much worse version of that, allowing you to seamlessly copy the same text file millions of times.

The thing I see a lot of people misunderstand about Luigi is you don't have to agree with him to see his point and why people cheered him on. Furthermore people really don't wanna talk about the fact that at its core vigilantism like what he did is not a problem, but a SYMPTOM of the problem.

Vigilantism happens when social cohesion is broken, when the system cannot enforce the social law so other means have to be found. People argue about if Luigi was right but here is the thing: what were his opitions to put the fear of God on the healthcare industry outside literally noscoping the CEO? A lawsuit? Would go nowhere. Lobbying? Would go nowhere + would never be able to come even close to the money needed to make a dent. Directly speaking to people? Nothing. Talking to the CEO? He would call security and nothing would happen.

I have looked into this before. This is why many definitions given by critical theorists tend to be circular. They will define things based on how they are perceived rather than what they actually are.

For example, when asked the question 'What is Islam?', they will usually respond with 'Islam is the religion that Muslims believe and follow'. It is easy to see how this definition can easily be shown to be circular. It references the very thing it is trying to define without giving external criteria for identification.

In other words, they define things based on an idea of 'lived experience' rather than literal or metaphysical/transcendental truth.

For obvious reasons, this branch of philosophy does not play well with formal logic, which is why most analytical philosophers do not take it seriously.
