I have a condition that causes me to produce more mucus in my throat, and because of that I found that carbonated drinks help dissolve it. Turns out, if I can't dissolve it, it makes a build up of mucus and effectively tries to hurt me. I have had to force myself to cough violently just to get it out. This is only hurting because I cannot have sparkling water. I hate the taste of normal water, so I went with sparkling water. Now I'm in constant pain, no way to stop it, and I worry I will choke on my mucus because of this. From a citizen in Indiana.
EDIT: Since a lot of you are saying "call [insert thing here]" I cannot. I have no job, I'm told I'll never be able to get one, my grandma who raised me controls every aspect of my life, and told me she's never gonna give me a phone.
UPDATE: I have originally made this post to point out frustrations I was not prepared for so many replies. I messaged a moderator to archive this post, I am not mentally equipped for this. I don't know anything, and the people calling my situation fake just because I'm not knowledgeable is seriously not okay. I have never been feeling like I have control of my own life, that's on me. The jeets working at reddit are so incompetent that even the comment hiding did absolutely nothing. You could actually go to a person's profile who had their comments hidden, enter an empty search in their profile, and have everything come up. It was like this for... at least a year. Only recently was this "fixed"

So a tiktokker/doordash delivery driver called irlmonsterhighdoll, got fired from her job at doordash due to filming the person who ordered food that she was delivering, the person who ordered said to "specifically" set the food outside, now any normal person would have done that. But she went inside his house, while he was laying on his sofa "naked" she filmed it and posted it on tiktok (the video got taken away but I managed to get a photo of the video)

The intent of the post is obviously to spark a debate about parenting, always a fun, hot-button topic. Trying to get people to argue if the friend's parents are too overprotective, if OP's parenting is too lenient, whatever. But there's one problem, and it's one the commenters spotted immediately: The film is rated R. That means an adult has to be there anyway if the kids want to get in. So the debate becomes completely pointless, because now from any angle you approach this the friend's dad is just doing everyone a solid.
The funny thing is that in other countries the rating isn't so strict. In the UK it's rated 15 (for example), so assuming none of the friends are younger they could get in without an adult. OP could have just said they lived somewhere else, but again, no research went into their engagement bait.
I'm confident in saying this is fake, simply because I don't believe an actual parent would be this bothered by their sons being supervised by a friend's parent for an outing at the movies regardless of whether an adult had to be there. Is it helicoptering? The more pressing question is "Why would you care?". Even if it's not what you would personally do as a parent, it's well within the range of normal parenting decisions at that age. Saying it's "weird" is ridiculous. You should assume people you let into your house will snoop a bit. They might not go through your stuff, but they will take a look around. It's human nature and very few can resist. I don't think I would trust a total stranger with my dogs. I find it weird that people would. Imagine leaving your dog with a redditor. It would end up with a blown out anus and an eating disorder by the time you got home.

They're on the farms now. I've got more shit for a private profile than anything else here. I don't care for stupid comments being posted there and comment stalking to try and get a leg up on you is just gay. But it makes people so angry here.

Seems a normal thing to have an adult taking the kids to see an adult rated film since some of them may not look old enough and might not get in. When an adult vouching will clear up the issue. Also gives them some safety if the film fucks them up.
The issue is probably that it's a man and she's thinking he might molest them. Not that it's an adult going. But who the fuck is going to want to watch zoomer slop horror? The fathers taking one for the team. I don't mind Backrooms stuff but the trailer being a nigger running round an empty hallway made me uninterested.
