“My [M28] Wife [F28] threw out the flowers I got her for Valentine's Day, I destroyed her late-husband's wedding ring and messed everything up. https://t.co/8xSiqIpyRM”twitter.com
tldr : man married woman whose husband died at a young age, she married him on Valentine’s Day. she told new husband early on that she doesn’t celebrate valentines day. He gets jealous of seeing friends on social media celebrating it, so he decides to act like a man child and give her flowers. She gets pissed, and cries. He gets mad and breaks her first husbands wedding ring with a hammer.
Sounds to me like the dude had a moment of fucked-up clarity and realized that he needed to get out of that relationship he hated before he wasted the rest of his life on it, but also that he was too weak-willed to end it himself, so he instinctively did something he knew she could 100% never forgive him, to force her to do what he was too much of a pussy to do himself. They should never have married in the first place.
