What if the consent is questionable? Like, how do they call it, consentual non-consent? What about the unhealthy side effects from certain sexual practices? Certain aspects of BDSM, scat, cuckolding, cheating, findom or AGP, which are all either unhealthy physically or mentally. With the knowledgde that certain sex acts are destructive and unhealthy, shouldn't society try to go against those and not normalize them? Wouldn't you care if a family member or friend is harmed by partaking in them? What about the normalization of taboos like beastiality, pedophilia, racism, sexism or necrophilia - because fictional and roleplaying versions of those things are still a form of normalization. How about the addictive side of sexuality because yes, if a family member is addicted to pornography, that's their problem but certain forms of sexuality work like an addiction and can be destructive. Hell, the average age someone starts watching porn is 9 these days. You have kids seeing hardcore pornography before they're 10. Sexual freedom is not as great as it seems. Same with prostitution, some women do it simply to survive, the consent is everything but straightforward as many of them would stop if given the chance. And the men who keep visiting them are not evil, some are basically addicted - and the effects of it on peoples relationship is well known.

What if a person partakes in sex acts simply to keep their relationship alive? Is that consent? If I pay a women to do stuff she doesn't want to do, is that consent? Can people with a mental illness consent?

I don't know why sexuality is always viewed as perfect and beautiful and "as long as everyone consents it's fine" as if humans work that simple. Coaxing, lying, drugs or alcohol can fuck with the standard definition of "consent" and there are plenty of destructive and taboo sides to sex.

And all in all, it also boils down to the whole "how does the overal mental well-being of society affect you in any way?????? mind your own biz!". Obviously everyone is affected by the level of sexual freedom within a society, if society deemed rape okay, many women would not leave house alone anymore for example. The idea that the acts that people partake in has no effect on others, is simply wrong. Many women are expected to do sexual stuff in a relationship that basically didn't even exist, or was extremely niche, before the 70s.

It’s kind of pointless in the long run because the amount of people that want to have gross sex with a gross dead body is small and willing corpses are even rarer

you could charge people to have sex with your corpse and then give the money you make back to your family. sick freaks would probaly pay alot for the chance depending on how attractive you are.
