I think one of the main problems of Kaiserreich is that it takes itself way too serilously while still having plenty of silly things like that russian general who larps as Genghis Khan, Gobbles blessing the rains down in Africa or anarchism succeding in a large scale, all the hardcore lefties are attracted to it since all the syndicalist nations and focus trees are most of the time "wholesome 100 everything somehow succeds and the syndies get a massive buff".

They removed Ghrngis Khan II as part of their 'realism push. Hell they are even removing Kerensky and the last vestiges of what Kaiserreich started out as back when HOI2 (I think) was new and it was a Russia wank.

I fully expect them to make Russia into a dystopia hellscape if you go SocCon or more right that routinely gasses minorities while a ultra wholesome state if you are some flavor of SocDem or Sandie while throwing some random fucker to be the Totality to try and explain how the Leftists aren't all bad paths. They are turning Savinkov into literally Hitler instead of a mix of Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini where he actually genocides minorities to core land and will likely purge White Russian generals (I am sure leftist retards will love it as a power fantasy). I wouldn't be surprised if they mischaracterize Denikin and make him some other NatPop leader who murders all the Jews because he issued pogroms during the civil war.

For added autism in TNO a bunch of tards believed Alexander Men's Divine Russia was a bad state because it had LGBT rights as outlawed. The devs changed it recently apparently in a patch as it was an oversight.

Paradox games in general attract communist fanatics who want to act out their fantasies in the game which they can't have in real life. Most mods will just be leftist wish fulfilment as a result.

More often they actually argue the USSR was a massive success but it was all undermined by the CIA, and somehow no one in modern Russia has thought to bring it back (aside from the small communist party).

I'm still pissed nobody's put together a competent grand strategy game where you can play as Hitler and lead Germany and the Axis powers to victory and world domination in WWII. Sure, you can make it just one possible route through the game among myriad other options for a semi-realistic WWII-era strategy game, but grow some fucking balls and make the Third Reich a playable faction. Devs are such pussies these days.

I don't know how far they go but there's like a million ancient japanese home computer games where you can play as the nazis.
Some of them even got megadrive and super famicom ports.
