A Reddit admin stepped in and deleted the mod's hysteria, spurring the mods to call the admins "dictators" and "tyrants" because they won't let them censor and ban people who disagree with them on their spam messages.

The greatest rulers have always been Machiavellian dictators/benevolent tyrants who rule with an eagle in one hand and a dove in the other, the greatest of which were all power hungry. Power hungry leaders (generally) provide greater rewards, both physical in terms of resources, goods, and capital; and non-physical, in purpose, meaning and honour.

Reddit moderators are just fat bullies and leftiest degenerates and they fail, not because they're power hungry, but because the foundation of their existence is a mess of political and ecological contradictions that inevitably leads to failure. Plus, they're low-life jannies with no real power at all. They're like upper-classmen squabbling with the aristocracy, and the aristocracy has the money to afford soldiers.

I used to post on my country's main regional board. One day i realized i had powers to delete posts and threads. I was made a janny without asking for it or wanting it, i guess an admin realized since i reported a bunch of posts that weekend i was thrustworthy to be given a modicum of power but i wasn't, i didn't give a shit.

I almost nuke the entire board because i though people crying about the erased posts on the meta board was funny. I hardly lasted a day before i was banned and my janny powers removed. It was pretty funny.
