I hate to disappoint you, but these "updated" TOS are more than a year old and certainly not a response to the current janny insurrection. Compare these two archive links:

If you need an example of how the business world robs everybody of a soul...I actually don't doubt Pao's sincerity, she probably was freaked out by having to be in a room with this person. But "networking" was more important to her then not going to this shit. and everybody in the room and the organizers all had the same thought process. In any circle with rich, powerful, people there's this understanding that morality is always going to take a back seat to money and influence. In these circles you can be a massive piece of shit, but everybody will overlook it so long as you're a piece of shit who offers somebody something they can use. And this is considered normal in America.

These parties and shit aren't for "fun", rich people are sociopathic by default if not by biology. They don't give a fuck about interacting with others. No, they're there so they can meet and make deals with each other. It's all about money and power. That's the main role Epstein filled, he introduced these people to each other. People overlook that. Maxwell was the same.

"Oh well, this person is fucked up, but I have to play the game" is the innocent intention that all roads to hell are paved with

If I recall correctly during the reign of Yishan Wong, he mentioned that gildings could be seen as a symbol of reddits that have "quality" read: worth protecting for monetary reason. I'll give you three guesses as to who took offense to that.

I was also surprised by the admins response a few days ago. But it's pretty clear that the protest is rather inorganic and the admins probably don't want to encourage the kind of hostage-taking on display here. The powerjannies are playing a dangerous game.

at first this idea seems contradictory because wouldn't an influx of normal people result in normal people being in control?
but it actually isn't regular normal people, those generally prefer hanging out with actual acquaintances and friends, and generally don't get invested in internet communities. instead what you get is an influx of losers and failed normies, and that's who ends up controlling the platform, hence all the deviants and weirdos in positions of power.

It’s definitely her account. For them to have a username so similar to Ghislaine’s name, and for them to stop posting on the exact same day she gets arrested after being active constantly for over a decade? What are the odds?

It’s just weird she had so much time on her hands to post about such particular topics (tech, politics etc.) but then again it’s not like she had a real job sooo
