Late as fuck but shitposter's update reminded me this thread exists.
Anyway,
I like that all the Beleth doll designs are technically canon when you think about how many times it gets destroyed, repaired, or the demon finds yet another doll for the collection that just so happens to work as an army of minions.

Well I mean you can redesign anything you want in Floraverse to be honest.
Here are the references.
You can find some characters definitely the most prized at the time these reference sheets were made in there.
If not, you can always look around in the wiki, especially the characters section in the first page. You can also repair some personalities by just looking around the comic itself.
We just kind of need to fix this cast.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. There's definitely a lot to work with. I was thinking I could make them a bit more, well, demonic yet still kinda cute.

Hi! I'm new to Kiwi Farms but I like character design and loathe Kid Neon so here's a quick redesign! I tried to make her more "neon" and changed her species from a Scrapgoat/Turf Tiger to a purebred Scrapgoat. She also draws inspiration from the expression "black sheep."

Like the most of us, I gave redesigning Beleth a shot.

I'm not that good of an artist and this was a quick doodle, so I'm sorry for bad quality.
Okay so here's my interpretations:
- I loved the idea that Beleth is a mighty king of hell stuck in a doll's body. It's funny to me, I guess. So in this version, he is not ruled by Jupet but by himself, the demon of a fierce and terrible king.
- I also enjoyed the idea that Beleth is a plush doll - meaning that he has stitches. Beleth also cannot move his mouth (maybe he talks with telepathy? I'm still thinking) and his "paws" are sort of like mits.
- He can still change his attire, though it's hard to find clothes for a doll. The crown, however, it stitched to his head.
- No bowlcuts on cats. It can be done right but most of the time it's not.
- His horse is not only one of those toy horses. It's decorated as if it were a staff, like a king has.

I tried to keep it like the original Red Beleth in a way (the one made by Exty. It was one of the only Floraverse designs that I liked). I hope you guys like it I guess.

Oh my, that Beleth is amazing. Way to keep to the doll motif! You can't even tell he is a doll the way glip draws him..

And thottie, love the Neon redesign. I never realised she needed nerdy glasses until you put them on her.



Thought I'd just share my really old drawing of the main trio. These are from a year ago, I think, and I hate them now. I did this really quickly and now that I look back they are just so ugly. I may revisit this later, but I doubt it.

I think I went for a feminine male Orobas, because the trans thing is offending a lot of people so we won't go there.
Got nothing much else to say about the other two. I just wanted Beleth to be more fearsome and serious. He's a commander of legions of demons, not a weeaboo.

Whether you like it or not, I prefer this version of Orobas way more than the canon.
Loppy repost below:
Took out the bug-like eyes, while retaining grump. Ear and wing-count has been nerfed to reduce clutter. Arms now have slightly more joints.
Almost went through the effort of coloring this guy, but decided it wasn't worth it. The color scheme is mostly the same, just that instead of blue ears, it's a blue head tuft. No dark purple markings, either.

That's got some serious Rankin-Bass Animation Cel feel to it. I like it.

I just hopped on this fuck, but these all really good re-designs! I like the more rough sketch art-style im-just-a-human-bean brings to the table, it's more original than the hyper-pastel style Glip is obsessed with.

If only Floraverse had any actual story, i would totally redo the "plot" to make it more readable. I do a lot of writing and i feel adaptation work is my strong suite.

I like these! They aren't that ugly. I like Big Horse the most.

I like the Loppy redesign! It's cute and looks more like a rabbit to me.

Can I just say I love this Orobas? Making her a donkey really makes her less of of a My Little Pony OC. You also kept her hat and her heart design on her cloak.

I like redesigning overcomplicated things just to see if I can (and also cause I have a hard time focusing on over complicated stuff :B ) so I thought sure why not
