Redesigning Floraverse - Because PK is a fucking idiot

I posted this Neon redesign on PK's main thread, but I was just informed that this thread exists so I thought it was worth posting here as well.

Decided to make it resemble the design for Kid Neon a bit more considering that design was a lot better than her doctor iteration. Got rid of the hideous bowl cut PK seems to love so much, but also decided to go for something less bold than the mohawk from Kid. Also got rid of the stupid paws and reapplied her goatee to make her a full-fledged Scrapgoat instead of the goat-tiger monstrocity she was initially.

Also, I redesigned Krypto because her design is almost as hideous as Neon's. Almost.

Not gonna lie, there are some things about Krypto's design that I like a lot. Namely, the tail; it's a mechanical thing (the name escapes me), but it vaguely resembles a spine or tailbone, which is a nice homage to the Necropossums, so I decided to keep that intact. I also liked her outfit a lot, so I kept that as well with only a few minor changes. I see a lot of people complain about her impossible hooves too, so I decided to make them look a little more plausible while sticking to their original design as much as possible.
The things I decided to change were only the most glaring design issues... I ended up redesigning the entire head because it's just so ugly. The Lisa Simpson hair had to go, as did her weird lack of horns and awful facial structure. This was more difficult to design than Neon because it's hard to imagine what a possum-goat would look like, and she ended up resembling a Chihuahua more than either of those things. Oh well. It's a little better than the original, at least.

Decided to do my own redesigns of the "main three".

Orobas and Admusias I just simplified a bit. Glip tends to overdesign a lot so I toned them down little by little until I found a nice balance between their original designs and my own ideas.

Beleth never read "living doll" to me. I had to check the description to get that info. Character design should actively display who and what the character is.
I made sure to include some floppy arms and stitches for him, with a long yarn/rope-like tail that doesn't animate unless he wills it to.

My main thought was making sure they read correctly while still maintaining simple shapes that would be easy to draw over and over in a webcomic.

These are so cute! I love the style, and the Beleth one is a great blend between the white and red forms.

Would anyone be up to make some kind of strips of a similar concept comic, minus pedo and beasty and with more plot. It could be a neat thing to work on while unwinding from other projects

I feel weird about people on KF knowing my identity (just because I don't want my name attached to this account, and I don't trust a lot of ya fuckers lol), but I'd be down to collaborate with people anonymously! There's no way I'd be able to do it by myself, or even want to.

I know nothing about floraverse as a whole but I can create a LOT of stories from a basic rundown I'm sure. Since the characters aren't mine and have very specific personalities I'd have to make a resource dump for all of them. With my mental issues my writing shceduale can be sperratic too. Also gotta decide if it's a gender utopia where being trans doesn't work, or ditch that bullshit so that trans characters can be kept and actually treated right. Because Neon's story to me, personally, could have been great if handled by a non-fetishist who can actually write.

yeah, i say ditch most of their original personalities and backstories and build it from the bare bones. designs may have to be tampered as well because if i join, i really really never want to have to draw a single bowlcut

Anyways I drew some concepty concepts.. just trying to get comfortable with the aestethics
