Sure. It was a fun game. What’s wrong with Dishonored 2?You actually think Dishonored 2 was good?

What's a "beaner," what's a "dyke," and what does "stronk" mean?>Stronk beaner female head of security
>Pair of dykes in the crew quarters
>Nigger speaking almost longingly of a male musician
Off the top of my head, and it's been a while.
The results are in, zoomers don't like grim survival horror, they want bright neon colors and constant power fantasies to make them feel le heccin cool bro.It could work better if it were actually more grim
Becoming a laughingstock?Man, between this and Morbius, vampire fiction is not having the best of times. Unless becoming a laughingstock qualifies.
I don't know. I've failed to get into it twice now although I love the first. There's something off about it.Sure. It was a fun game. What’s wrong with Dishonored 2?
I've followed Starfield for a while and I've never heard them ever say it was going to be console exclusive. I mean I believe the first reveal trailer even said it was going to be on PC as well.they had been hailing that starfield will be console exclusive for a lot of time, not a really smart move from bethesda that made skyrim, the most moddable game aside from minecraft.
It's funny, cause if you go to the website, it opens with this artwork/wallpaper (I've also seen a few news articles use it), which looks much nicer to me, if a bit generic. I'd guess they went with the other one because they wanted to show off the PCs more front and center. The problems with Redfall start from the cover art, a defeated vampire crawling away from the powerful heroes. Does real good job of making main enemies of the game look like a non-threat before the game even starts.
Surprisingly no. Guess they're all the B team now though. Was Redfall made by the B team?
I've beaten the game three times and have a list of gripes.I don't know. I've failed to get into it twice now although I love the first. There's something off about it.
Maybe I'll give it another shot sometime.
Prey didn't have great enemy variety but it scratched that itch of being thrown into a cool retro future environment and exploring every nook ala Bioshock perfectly.Hold up I know the thread is about Redfall, but Prey 2017 is mediocre at best for a few hours and then becomes exceedingly boring after you realize all the enemies are black goo, I have tried to get through that game three times and every single time I get to Hydroponics and stop caring.
In my opinion Arcane has rarely been able to find a good gameplay loop to really focus on, they made one game with decent combat and that was like 20 years ago, I have no idea why they went this route with Redfall when it seems to be a game focused on what they are weakest at.
The game is going for the "YASSSSS KWEEN SLAAAAAAAAAAAAY" audience for whom "entertainment" exists as nothing more than something to stroke their own egos, being scared, challenged or made to think is alien to them. The results are in, zoomers don't like grim survival horror, they want bright neon colors and constant power fantasies to make them feel le heccin cool bro.
Ideally the game would be like Dying Light. Explore during the day to gather supplies and deal with primarily human enemies, go out at night to deal with vampires and a much greater challenge.
Actually, no. Most Zoomers that I've come across aren't really playing the power fantasy games. A lot of them are actually playing older games. Old school Halo, Fallout: New Vegas, Morrowind, Baldur's Gate 1&2, etc. There is a craze right now with Zoomers with retro and old school gaming. I think Zoomers are looking for games that have good gameplay, decent story, good world building, are cheap and writing that isn't written by a jaded millennial. The results are in, zoomers don't like grim survival horror, they want bright neon colors and constant power fantasies to make them feel le heccin cool bro.

A lot of people I've talked about Prey with shared the same sentiment. I think the great filter is either the part after psychotronics where the game forces you to go through GUTS, or the forced lockout bit where the game forces you into deep storage. The mimic shtick should have been expanded on, maybe introducing a couple larger mimics, say the size of a desk or doorway, used sparingly, that weren't picked up by mimic detection, with an AI package to not jump you immediately. The game really only has one jump scare and could've used a few more. Could have also made it so there were more areas with disabled power and introduced some darkness mechanics.System Shock II is one of my favorite games of all time, one that I can replay endlessly, but I couldn't get through Prey. Found it really sterile. I've tried it twice and each time got bored sometime in the middle. The mimic gimmick grew old after a hour, enemies were boring, and none of the gameplay mechanics really grabbed me. The only thing it had going for it for me was SS nostalgia of exploring a space station... but even that grew boring because I found the environments really bland.
Loved Dishonored but still haven't touched the sequel. Don't know why. I bought it on GOG a year or so back during a sale.
Did I miss something? LolCrowbcat is buck broken. he wont make a new one.
As with all reddit gaming group, they'll simply make a separate sub to avoid the "toxicity and negativity" and there will be a nice 20,000 person echo chamber
the fallout of the RE4 video is still fresh in everyone's mind.Did I miss something? Lol
Yes, they have explicitly said it's going to be on PC. It is going to be a console exclusive but that guy doesn't know what that means. It means it'll be exclusive to one platform on console only.I've followed Starfield for a while and I've never heard them ever say it was going to be console exclusive. I don't blame him. Everyone is dogpiling on Redfall now. He'd just be another video in a sea of them.Crowbcat is buck broken. he wont make a new one.
