theyll probably be banned to prevent platform lawsuits before they can gloat
If Trump and his supporters cause 230 to be repealed, I'd be most happy if Twitter and Facebook responded by banning all Trump supporters, making their platforms into leftist echo chambers, and all alternatives were forcibly shut down by the government.

This might just be the most ass thing to ever happen to the net if it passes.

Encyclopedia Dramatica will likely follow the exact same order as kiwifarms.

The only solutions to this are to hand the site over to a foreigner.

And let's face it there aren't many of those who could handle the level of autism and work that platforms like these require.

Infuriating.

i mean fuck theyll be forced to, cant have some moron saying corona virus isnt a real virus and to inject bleach into yourself anymore you ban them or youre responsible for that shit, itll backfire so hard on people who think theyre owning the libs

4chan isn't 4chan anymore. The jannies actually ban you for being edgy now.
Yeah, I heard many old 4chan users call it "redditchan" and some even went to some forums like this (or discord).
I miss internet 1.0/2.0, this 2.5/3.0 looks like shit (or communist utopia if you're 14) -- The Onion is most likely the future, lmao. Onion youtube when?

Private Discord servers, probably, but I'm wondering if those would also be liable to lawsuits, and if Discord would be more hands on in moderating private servers
Hammer&Chisel (the original Discord devs) weren't exactly known to be fans of privacy tbh.
