Admittedly, I'm dense. That doesn't say anything anyone doesn't already know. What I'm saying: publisher protections will still be extended to any platform that does less than a certain amount of traffic per month.

230 is supposed to work similar to a corporate veil, a shield that separates ownership from liability. The reforms that are being discussed should only apply to organizations above the threshold, not Eater fetishist cults like yours.

Having this enshrined in statute should actually terminate your current civil actions. You should be wanting this.

Just the argument of "well yeah this new rule is absolutely terrible, but they probably won't enforce it on you or anything so shut the fuck up", regardless of what it's referring to, is infuriating, and anyone who ever unironically makes such an argument should have all of their opinions forever discarded.
