I miss this thread, too much good music to not share.

First one is Ghetto Girl by Sugar Minott and the second one is Didn't I by Cornel Campbell
❤️❤️❤️

Excellent.

I'll post some older stuff too, took me a while to realize this song is about killing his rivals in the music industry and that his gun is the "Stopper".

It's exactly what I imagined Jamaica in the 1980's would look like lol.

Good music though.

Oh man, Massive B Sound System was great! That game has some great music.
This song was on another reggae radio station, RamJam FM.

This is such a random and late bump but I do hope you know that Massive B is indeed a real-life radio station as well, and Bobby Konders himself compiled the playlist for GTA. :)

I continuously discover music here by tuning in. It's not just Reggae and Dancehall, they've been blasting some Soca (Trinidad), Jonkanoo (Bahamas), and Afrobeats (East Africa).

Gonna drop some new music since my last bump.

How has Elephant Man been around for so long and he's still so fucking GOOD? Yes it's a dumb song about shaking your ass, that's his thing. His music is about as deep as a puddle lyrically, but it really gets you moving.

@John W. Smoke Jr. Dub is allowed as long as it leans into a reggae sound, honestly any Jamaican music is welcome in this thread.

Congratulations to Kabaka Pyramid for winning a Grammy, he definitely deserves it. I've met him in person and he was so, so kind.

RIP Louie Rankin. Love that old ass drumkit. I was listening to Jungle/Ragga on YouTube and the autoplay decided to sneak this classic in. It came out in 1992 but sounds like it’s from the mid 80s.

Going though this thread, I’m surprised no one posted this classic dancehall song yet.
