Literally the only reason they're doing this is because Ashley is an attractive women. If she was an ugly rock Jared black troon a Chad like Leon flirting with her would be stunning and brave.
 
I’m pretty sure they only cut out Ashley’s offer for overtime so it wouldn’t look like they have a double standard. It’s also really shit how before this, they claimed the cutscenes would be presented in their “original format”.

Will they ever remake Code Veronica? My favourite Resi game by far. Janky and full of dumb Matrix moments. I love it.

Granted, if they did, Alfred's transvestite moments would no doubt be removed.

Honestly, it looks nowhere near as bas as I was expecting, rough cgi aside. I've got no problem with them going for a b-movie vibe as that is all the games are anyway. Plus it will have to go some to be worse than the last 2 CG movies.
 
Well i watched the full trailer, i have no idea how they are going to incorporate RE1 and RE2 into the same movie since those two games happen at diferent times, i also absolutely do not understand how Claire even knows about Umbrella, CGI looks awful, the mansion also looks like shit, i didnt have much hopes when i saw the casting for the movie and considering this is written by americans, i can only imagine the type of script we are going to have, Chris is the only one that looks remotely close and faithful to its design.
Btw, what will he think of it?

Anyone defending this by saying it looks cheesy and silly like the games is probably a shill. It looks more like a crappy asylum or syfy movie than any of the old b-movies the games were referencing.

It really looks like they’re going for the Walking Dead zombie soap opera crowd instead of the horror crowd, right down to the CW-tier actors. To be honest, I’d prefer it if Capcom gave the rights to Blumhouse and told them to make a low budget horror movie about cops fighting zombies in a big mansion for 90 minutes.
