The Clannad part actually caught even the Clannad fandom off-guard. It's from Episode 5, 17:30.

How am I only now finding out KF has an RE thread? I'm so fucking excited for the RE4 remake, bros.
(also I found this thread by searching to see if Carcinogen was a lolcow because of his spergout a couple years back, kek)

I feel you man, I have high hopes for RE4make. I hope to GOD no enemies or bosses or guns get cut, even in my heart I know some things will get scrapped.

Carcinogen is a lolcow? Dont follow him at all but ive seen part of his RE and Silent Hill walkthroughs and he seemed chill to me

Not really looking forward to it myself, i know it wont hold a candle to OG RE4 which still holds up fine to this day imo, but recently ive just started to accept that RE4make and OG can coexist together, and who knows? The remake could be great for all we know, Capcom has been on a good roll recently
 
Had the displeasure of emulating RE: Survivor after hearing about it and...

...I feel ripped off, I didn't pay for any of it and I still feel like I'm owed a refund, definitely one of the worst non-numbered titles in the series, they made Mr X a complete joke in this game, you even fight FIVE of them in one room.

It's only contribution to the game's lore is the protagonist's relation to Leon and that's it, not like it matters since he was never mentioned again in any capacity.
 
I feel like I'm the only one who fucking hates what they've put forward with RE4make. Like, RE was never scary. Never will be. It was always dumb, schockly 80's cheese. So to take the peak of that cheese, and try to make it grimdark? Fuck out of here.

The original RE4 is probably one of my favorite games, and with that being said, what we've been shown about the remake thus far does not have me the least bit excited for it. I still want to check it out when it releases, but mostly just to see if it can actually live up to the original.

Most people are just excited for it because NEW THING WITH MODERN GRAPHICS GOOD, I'm betting. And maybe some "SCARY RE4 WITHOUT ACTION MOVIE SCHLOCK GOOD".
