It's such a bastardized version of his original hair anyway. Shit looks fucking ridiculous.

I'm also not a fan of the recessed-chin, dead-eyed, Calvin Klein looking guy they modeled him off of for these remakes. It's something only a yellow or brown would think is mansculine/attractive.

They're fun, but yeah. Leon looks so bad.

He's just a whiny fag in the demake and can't hit anything he shoots at.

His hair looks so whispy and shitty in Requiem. I loved his hair in 6, but he's 35 in that and can pull it off. I HATED his hair in RE2 since it looked like a chocolate wig, especially when wet and then right back to dirty blonde in 4R. It also looks like he's infected in 9 since it's on his neck, so they'll be killing him off 90% sure. I mean it's called Requiem after all.

I like his Railgun look the best darkside-chronicles-leon-design-is-underrated-and-deserves-v0-hee74w6dhtze1.webp

Leon, being Irish, was always supposed to have reddish hair, but they've slowly drained it from him as the games go on.

You know, I never really related to Wesker until you realize he's spent over a decade and over billions of dollars to essentially murder his coworkers, and that's extremely relatable.

even funnier co-workers HE picked out to go on the suicide mission, and he's the one who holds a grudge for them surviving, even though he always intended to fake his death so he could Snake Umbrella afterward and zuck up all their research and viruses.
meaning he really fucking hates Chris.. for enabling his plan and never particularly stopping/being a thorn in it up till RE5, as in CV the only reason he doesn't get any of the T-Veronica Virus, is because he couldn't throwdown with Ms. Brother Fucker.

It also sucks knowing if it were Sherry (obvious/birkin infects her in 2), Jill (Nemesis infects her in 3), or Rebecca (Key plotpoint in Vendetta), it would make sense as all T and G virus infectees still have the virus dormant inside them as Sherry in 6, Jills unaging in Death Island and Wesker's Damphirism. In fact, Wekser's Damphirism (I mean in 5 he clearly turns into Mist and he survives point blank rocket launcher fire prior to having the extra injections, so he can become intangible, has super speed, super strength and is nigh indestructible, he's literally got all the powers of a damphir or half-vampire) proves that those with powers still have to be regularly vaccinated if they use them too much, and with a specific dosage unique to each infectee, so they infect Leon for no reason, and considering when he has it, seemingly before the game even begins, they basically offscreened our boy. If you're going to offscreen kill a main character like that, at least choose someone clearly infected prior.

Sherry is completely stable unlike Wesker, she's the perfected, ultimate specimen for what Ashford and Spencer wanted, an immortal human.

I dunno. Jill doesn't age while Sherry does. Arguably Jill is closer to the immortal human than Sherry. Also we don't know the limits to Sherry's healing factor but it definitely seems a lot less potent than turning into mist and back to human or taking a rocket launcher capable of destroying typical tyrant bow's which survive anti tank missiles prior, to the face. Wesker, TALOS, Ustanak and Nemesis are legitimately a different breed when it comes to how indestructible they were. It's honestly kinda sad we never got anyone so durable since 6. Also note, Sherry never actually has her healing factor tested as heavily as Wesker had his abilities tested. It's very likely the reason he has to have the vaccine in 5 but not CV and 4 is due to him overusing it during 5. He also never turns to mist prior to 5 either and one could argue if Sherry tried shit like that she'd need a jab now and then too.

Plus, if remake 3 is to be taken as canon (it shouldn't be, but it seems as if Capcom is going to). Post-infection Jill carries Sword of Paracelsus with her hands, and the recoil of that is clearly more than the weight the blade which chopped Sherry in half was. It's possible pre-infection Jill would have broken every bone in her body prior. Granted, that's using the worst Resident Evil game as an example. But I will admit I did like the lore implications once I saw her still looking early 30s in Death Island.

buddy he isn't turning into mist, he's moving faster than the eye can see, the series is wild, but no one can turn themselves, their cloths and sunglasses, and gun into mist and back again in a blink, in Resident Evil.

he's quick stepping, simple as.

on Sherry and aging, there's two types of aging, development, then degredation, she developed because she's got human DNA which makes you grow to that point, degradation happens later, and is why you get "old", she will never, ever get old, because her body can regenerate, Jill may not age, but she can't stitch mortal wounds back together.

>only Irish guy in series
>Misses work because he's hungover

Fuck yeah
To be fair, Chris does as well in 6, and his family is far more English. Leon has an excuse. Chris is just sad that 6's Bravo Team died. Which also makes less sense when he had three squads die on him in 5 and took it far better. (especially since the world was at stake in 5 already and 6 didn't have those stakes until China, which was after he was uncharacteristically alcoholic).
I never knew Leon was Irish.

"Will the scandals never end?!"
Leon, Scott, Kennedy.
Leon 'Lion'
Scott 'from Scotland'
Kennedy 'helmet head' (can be used to mean knight, also biggest Irish dynasty in the United States)
His name is Celtic for The Lion Knight of Scotland.
Celtic name meaning "Lion Knight of Scotland" means he's Irish. As Irish were early settlers of Scotland. Hence why so many Irish stereotypes apply to both. It would be more surprising if he wasn't Irish.

He rarely moves more than 5 inches after disappearing his entire body very briefly and then reappearing often only haven moved his upper half. He also stops doing it only after given the first injection of the serum by Chris and Sheva. Also, moving faster than sound is a lot more wacky than turning into mist and back. You say it's wild, but you replace it with something far more insane. Capcom accidentally made Wesker a Vampire, that's clear as crystal for anyone with eyes. If he was moving so fast then why did they have him disappear, barely move and reappear. When they could've simply done the Agent Matrix effect they did in Code Veronica? Not to mention the sound is of a small gust of wind, not the deafening howl of a sonic boom. Turning into mist could have a small sound, going faster than the eye could see would rattle your eardrums and deafen you. I'm just saying, what is shown, is not just rapid movement. Also, let's not forget the vampiric daughters of Dimitriscu who turn into insects and back. Only being unable to form a swarm in the cold which is brought about with areas lit by sunlight. Which is a lot crazier than what I'm saying Wesker is doing. Honestly Magneto and the Vampire kids kinda make beeg feesh and junkie dollmaker underwhelming.

Not true, Chris hit his head, got amnesia and escaped the hospital in a confused stooper. He was lost in a foreign country with no clue why he was there or who he was.
That does explain why he acts like he has severe brain damage in 6-8. Because while other characters have had decent writing, both remake and otherwise. Chris is absolutely written by a Somalian orphan dei hire that the democrats kidnapped to work on the game for slave labor. Because no intelligent human being could fuck up a character that much.

The fact that Chris is in charge of another squad in Village is probably the most unrealistic part of the game. His team death count is in the hundreds by that point just give the man a desk job.

his behavior in 8 is annoying. He just refuses to tell you anything just to keep the player in suspense. There's absolutely no reason for him not to explain what's going on and the payoff doesn't make up for it.

It's far worse in 6 imho. 7 it's just the fact they made him look like Twink Chris from the ogs. Otherwise 7 Chris was fine. 8 he's a retard, but at least there's an excuse he gives. It's not a good one, but our military does that dumbass shit irl at times so the idea a military soldier would be retarded about information that shouldn't be classified isn't super surprising. 6 it's just a tonal 180 of 5. And considering he's had that storyline 4 times before in the OG, Umbrella Chronicles, Revelations, and 5. Losing his team one more time shouldn't break him like that. Like Chris, that's a normal Tuesday for you, fuck off and do your god damn job.

I'm not replacing it, I'm telling you WHAT it is, its quick stepping, he's moving faster than sight, its completely absurd in physics, but that's what it is, its Anime as hell, but turning everything he is into Mist would be a step further, because it would just be pure magic, with his quickstepping, they can attempt to handwaive it as his insane speed, but can only be done in incredibly short bursts.

in all promotional/side material, even MVC3, its Wesker moving super fast for less than half a second, its even how its presented in game, since he carries some minor momentum.

Your doubts of Weskers Vampiric abilities do not entertain me. For failing to provide an interesting conversation I condemn you to the only punishment worthy of your actions. Eternity in Umbrella Corps.

Jesus man, have some compassion, it's the Christmas season. At least reduce it to 50 years in Resident Evil Survivor with the possibility of parole.
