So he’s never explicitly called HUNK in the fight. When he speaks and you have subtitles turned on, his name is “???” and it says “Kill the Commander.”

I heard there is a post Credit scene that has the actual HUNK in it.
 
Do you remember Mark Wilkins the black guy from Survivor?
They imply his son is dead in the document they give you to set Grace off on her journey. E. Wilkins.

has me forced to assume I'm going to get fucked in some way if I have any expectations whatsoever with them.

No. His only canon appearance is in 4th Survivor Mode. He’s mentioned in notes in other games but all other appearances are non canon bonus modes.

Boba Fett’s real name is Boba Fett.

Also, the character’s real name might not be HUNK but the character is HUNK. Like Ada Wong isn’t her real name but the character is Ada Wong.
In RE2R in the “models” mode, he’s called HUNK. When HUNK speaks in RE2R, the subtitles call him HUNK.
I’m not fully convinced it’s HUNK.

Nigga, that is not what I meant, I meant the mistique of the character, everyone knows Fett's name is his name, I mean the fact Fett (till the new show) was a mysterious Merc who didn't take off his helmet.

they made an ENTIRE military/religious brotherhood off that mystique, which ironically, Fett isn't even in, just tangentially related to.

I remember when people thought the Chris model for RE7 was so bad it was actually hunk in disguise. Those were good times. I wonder if they actually changed it, because there was quite a delay on the Chris dlc

Also, I'm pretty sure they'd need a cross dressing freak in resident evil to have a character insult said cross dressing freak. Resident Evil hasn't exactly had once since Code Veronica unless you count Lady Hunk, which is just a skin in Raid Mode for Revelations 2 to say "hey gooners, we gave Hunk tits" aka, literally the gooner slop you said you wanted.

Also Pragmata is coming out and that's even goonier gooner bait, literal irl lolicon shit. I don't exactly know what you're complaining about except, Capcom did what everyone else did but less bad last year. Because as retarded as those 3 games were, everything else was 100x worse besides indie titles.

Their games last year were all stinkers I agree. Though mainly for performance reasons related to their DRM and primarily their use of it in open world games (which is why I"m glad RE9 isn't open world). But having seen what I've seen of the game I'm playing it as soon as Enigma gets cracked. Which, given they let pc players preload, might get cracked before the game officially releases since Enigma DRM constantly gets cracked within hours. (hell pirates might be able to play it right now for all I know, I'll check in a bit). Would honestly be pretty funny if that happened though.

Also. "Capcom isn't the same capcom I knew 20 years ago." I agree, Capcom isn't as good as their best years in the year after their third worst year. (worst year was 2013. Second worst was 2020) and this year is still objectively better than those 3 years. Also, everything was better in 2006. People could still afford houses for one more year. Games were cheaper. Fast food was actually affordable. Wages didn't stagnate for a couple more years. McDonalds still had consoles in the play place. Walmart let you demo video games. Gamestop had hot women. Booth babes weren't removed. Pretty much everything about life was better then. But Capcom is still the best AAA studio there is, even if they have that title purely by being the only one that doesn't suck shit on every release.

Honestly Capcom keeps making shitty live service slop, but Mercenaries with Hunk as a main character is already the ultimate live service slop. The fact they never try to cash in on the game mode every single fan and their mother likes proves Capcom, while being the least retarded AAA studio, is still retarded.

True and not true.
Boba has a two cool backstories. One is in that time before The Prequels came out where his real name was Jaster Mereel and he was basically like the book version of Doomguy where he was this Volcel who didn’t do drugs and whatnot.
Personally, my favorite is his backstory that was created during the lore dumps after Phantom Menace or in this case AOTC.

Jaster Mereel is reimagined as Jango’s adopted father after his family is slain on Concorde Dawn during the Mandalorian Civil War. I won’t go into Jango’s full history since that’s its own topic.

But Boba eventually becomes a Journeyman Protector on Concorde Dawn. A JP is basically like a planetary Marshall. He marries a woman who is a Kiffar AKA Quinlain Voss’ race named Sintas Vel and they have a daughter.

She gets raped by Boba’s superior and Boba kills said Superior before fleeing the planet and eventually becoming a Bounty Hunter.

There’s a lot more to it than that but it’s a very cool backstory for both Jango and Boba.

They've tried to make this like four times and it gets ruined every time because they want it to be live service slop. Even 9 was supposed to be a weird live service survival shooter before they turned it into an anniversary game.

Grace is genuinely quite pretty and plays second fiddle to a manly man who does all the actual hard work. Short of running around in a bikini it seems about as not woke as you can reasonably get, especially for a series that has always had relatively competent action girl leads since the first entry.
