Assuming that's true, all that tells me is that there's lazy asset reuse. AAA games cost more to make than they did decades ago. Also, what's the point of an ARG after the game is out?Game development is cheaper each year actually. 90% of the environments are Quixel assets and people have used those same assets in UE5 to recreate entire levels of the game in a matter of hours in UE5. Game development does not cost that much. What does is marketing. Which is again why the puzzle was done. It's good marketing.
Then why do game companies keep laying off employees and shutting down studios? capcom would likely be doing this as well if they didn't rely on shitty third parties like neobards for cheap outsourcing. And you're failing to factor in that investors are the ones who pay those, not you. Again, your money goes to refund the investors. The devs are on salary. They get paid regardless of if the game succeeds or not. So, they are a the whims of investors, not you. That is how all corporate works.
You seriously have mental problemsNobody in this entire thread but me knows about all the out of bounds you can do in the original gamecube release that you are locked out of in every other release. We proved that by all of you refusing to answer my very simple questions about them a month ago. If you had the answer you could have answered then. It's been a month. None of you know the series as well as I do. This is demonstrable. Because most of you play a game once or twice. There was someone talking about playing Code Veronica for the 5th time, stating they played on 5 different consoles but only played the game once on each. That is not a fan, that is a larper. If you don't replay each game 10+ times you are not a fan. Because these are the most replayable games outside of roguelikes. Understand that and understand that well. All of you are fake fans
Call me crazy, but I don't believe you. Your insane rambling walls of text are fun to read though. So, when I say why Capcom does something. And I show number go up. I am talking about the numbers that matter to Capcom. Your numbers don't get them to keep their jobs. Mine do. If they cared about your numbers all of them would be fired. They care about investors numbers because that's what keeps them employed. I told you why they included a puzzle you thought was retarded in RE:9, and you didn't like the answer. But that answer is the correct answer. You can be wrong, you can be proudly wrong. But you are wrong. And this is coming from someone who is demonstrably an infinitely bigger fan than everyone else in this subforum. I have the entire series remembered autistically because I've played these games nonstop for decades. I've been here since I was 7 for over 20 years. And I've been playing every day. I have hundreds of hours into each game in the series. I can tell that you do not. Come back when you put 250+ hours in Gaiden. Or when you understand basic economics.
REmake 4 has apparently been freed of enigma now. Hopefully whoever suggested adding that has been fired/told to fuck off.
