Can the Mercenaries come out next Thursday? Story DLC are nice but Mercenaries is where all the replayability shines.

just Victor, this is a new batch of nutters, but it is belivable, our entire Intelligence apparatus in real life dedicates every waking moment to protecting child rapists and child eaters with the full vigor of everything they can bring to bear.

I mean Capcom just put Epstein's temple in the basement of the orphanage. Everything from a satanic house of worship to a bunch of dead organ harvested children to a bloody mattress a child lands on. All leading to a lab where they grow more children to cut up and harvest the organs from to eat. Legitimately scariest shit to see once you realize it all actually is happening irl. Umbrella even controls the government as Leon reveals earlier with the missile strike dialogue. That whole orphanage scene is legitimately a "Satanic pedo cannibal cabal controls the world government and makes them do evil shit for them." Reference and nobody can convince me otherwise.

well yea, that's why "The Family" is quite literally just the Bilderberg's and Rothchild's style Illuminati that bankrolled Spencer.

Despite all his evil, Spencer at least had a goal, to eleveate humanity to godhood, he just wanted to be in on the deal, every other faction that uses B.O.W.'s in the series is even more evil than him, with goals so cartoonish that it would begger belief but you know, if you have been paying attention, that all the elites would likely DO WORSE SHIT than what happens in RE.

well they didn't, one off exceptions like Leon's CIA Spook boss that became President is just that, an exception, everything and everyone else would have gone along with it, that guy formed the DSO and put Leon in a high level position and made it answerable only to him, the President in an attempt to simply route the evil fuckers.

so they just had him killed, simple really, I'm sure if anyone saw it coming it was him.
 
The most Bleak part about Resident evil overarching story and narratives is that realizing Umbrella never mattered all that much, they were the beleaguered and bullied nerds squeezed tightly by the Elite glow-in-the-darks and Bankers in the U.S. forces, and the Euro aristocracy that ran the company behind the company of Euro Umbrella, a vestigial limb at best.

All the things the cast fought for, all they did, really didn't do much to stop the flow of Bioterrorism, all of it is nipping already happening outbreaks in the bud, hundreds of thousands of lives already lost, just cleanup crews, really.

I think it's more that Capcom slowly realized that big pharma was always under big brothers control and slowly shifted the villains from big pharma to big brother. Hence why they wanted to end the umbrella saga. It's clear to everyone that these companies were always puppets to someone worse irl. So Capcom wants to capitalize on that.

Leon was 21 and Sherry was 12 in RE2, that makes Sherry 42 and Leon 49 by the current timeline.

They are both middle aged although Sherry looks younger than she is due to the G Virus and Leon now looks a bit younger due to the Elips vaccine so functionally you could probably say mid 30s now for both.

Sherry and Leon have a 9 year gap, which would be weird and creepy when they met, but that was 28 years ago, which mind you, is double+7 Leon's entire lifespan as of RE2.

To be fair, it is kinda creepy when you realize he was taking care of her since the Raccoon City incident until she turned 18 and then in RE6 her first job is at the same company Leon works for. Even though obviously very unintentional, he kinda groomed Sherry. Though at least I will say he doesn't sound like the guy who would intend for any of it.

I could have sworn she was younger in 2.

I'm not usually bothered by age gap romances, but the exception to that rule is if one of them knew the other when they were a child. Then it gets weird, which it definitely would be here.
