Lessker's eyes are yellow with black sclera.

your right, I didn't really linger on them, I thought they were tinted by the glasses, either way I noticed they aren't cat like.

he's CLEARLY biologically related to Wesker, but he isn't him, for fucks sakes he's a loyal UNDERLING to a org. Wesker would have already betrayed and usurped them by now.

If they ever remake 5, I'm gonna be sad because I doubt Wesker will mog on you as much as he does now. Dude was smoothing his hair out while Sheva and Chris were desperately fighting him. God please, make this series campy as fuck again.

You can't have Wesker and play it completely straight. He is inherently campy but in a good way. The whole series used to be.

He was probably something HCF or the connections cooked up while Wesker was still alive in the early 00's. Or hell, maybe this was something Wesker toyed with before RE5. He knew Spencer was looking for immortality and maybe he wanted his own insurance policy.

But this dude is/was a fucking imbecile. Wesker wouldn't just inject some vile he just found without it being tested. Victor mocks him as an imitation and he's wounded by that, so it makes me wonder what he knew about himself. That he was never his own person. Like how old is he? Did he have rapid aging like Solidus Snake?

I've got a list of complaints or maybe just nitpickings about RE9, I've played through it 5 times, doing the Standard (Classic) difficulty now, so I can get that challenge done and dusted before I do Insanity.
But after you take down Emily after she turns, Grace yells "I wanted to save her! This all my fault! Again!" What does "again" mean? Is she implying she caused Alyssa's death?

My main complaint is the game feels pretty short. I hate spending 60-80 bucks on a game to beat it in a day. That's why I don't bother with Call of Duty titles anymore.

eta: other complaint, does anyone else find Sherry's voice to be really fucking annoying? People give shit to Ada's (RE4Make specifically) voice acting but Sherry's voice for some reason just drives me up a wall.
I'm speed running the game on a third playthrough right now. I think Grace was referring to the panic attack she has in the hotel that distracts Alyssa. To be completely honest though i only watched the cutscenes in my first playthrough so I could be wrong.

Also yeah it's definitely way less replayable than earlier titles, the survival horror segments as Grace feel too short as well IMO. Playing as Leon is a power kick but runs it's course towards the end. Its honestly a really average title, not really befitting of the 30th anniversary. I told a buddy of mine who has played most of RE but is short on cash to "definitely play it but definitely don't pay full price, wait for a discount".

About Sherry though I didn't find her annoying however I had the curiosity to check her voice actress on IMDB. It's the same VA that Sherry has in 6 over 10 years ago, just found that kinda interesting.

Shit that's really weird they would go back to the well for that one when everyone else top to bottom from the old cast was replaced.

As successful as the series is right now with this selling six million copies already. It's been the drizzling shits since this soft reboot of the series with 7 and the rest going forward. 4R is the only one that I still go back to regularly out of with 9 since I'm messing with mods.

Wouldn't it be something they get to RE6 with a remake and it's actually the best game in years. But they'll probably chop out a lot of the campaigns in it, or at least shrink them. And that'll be fine since that game is a fucking bloated mess. At least the playstyle will be consistent.

Connections were present since the start, Ada almost assuredly was working for them, and she started spying on the the Spencer Estate through John quite some time before Leech Queen Marcus unleashed hell, I assume at the time, the Connections were people double-agent'ing whilst working at Umbrella or at least were former employee's or some sort, as at the time, only the U.S. Govt and Umbrella themselves knew what they were doing, hell, the entire premise of the series, B.O.W.'s was something basically Birkin suggested over making killer viruses to sell, Marcus didn't make the leeches to be weapons for auction, it was incidental.

Which really circles back to Spencer, he never wanted the B.O.W. shit, the whole affair was just to make money to fund his trans-humanism lifelong goal, sure he was ruthless and willing to trample on human lives, but he had no idea it would lead to the T-Virus insanity, its almost assuredly the reason he made Elpis, not so much to right the wrongs, but to simply fuck over the people and their products that spawned from how far they deviated from his desires, if it helped people it was incidental.

I thought the same thing, not complaining though I thought it was a little refreshing to have Sherry back.

With RE6 I genuinely have no idea how they would "remake" that game if they ever got to it. All the weird shit they added/changed kinda makes it unique. I just finished a co op playthrough of 5 and started on 6 and I forgot about the whiplash and how those games play. At least with 5 you could compare the shooting, looting, and shop mechanics to its predecessor. But then what does re6 do...tik tak health items, weird inventory system relying on dpad (consoles), 4 campaigns, a weird perk system, and a totally revamped melee system.

I think Capcoms play with the remakes is to bring back the originals in the style of the current games on the RE engine. I could see it done with 5 (especially after RE4R) but genuinely how the fuck would they do that with 6 it's such a weird ugly duckling in the series. IF they do it and IF it's good I will eat my words but tonally and gameplay wise it really stands out from the rest of the mainline entries.

wesker IS/was a doctor though, as in spencer had him and alex studying shit while not-wesker just seems like your regular superpowered tard that fell for victor's talks and later diverged from the goal which caused him to lose his head over the situation. sorry
Michael Gough is the voice actor for both. You'll hear it in some of Saddlers dialogue early on, but it could just be me being autistic. I've probably spent more time with these games than I have with my family.
nope, gough changes his tone of voice for both characters BUT his voice still has a certain pitch that make them sound one and the same in certain words, this isn't a laura bailey situation my nig.

I assumed he injected without thinking bc he was dying from RCS. His face had the infection, the gloves and layers to help hide it as well? Or he's just a dumdum.

And this doesn't make sense, since if he's a clone of Wesker post Mansion... Wesker was never in Raccoon City during the outbreak.

But I do suppose that's probably the best explanation why he would inject without thinking twice. Victor was a retard and didn't research correctly, or maybe he did and knew what it was.

I don't believe it's been mentioned but Grace isn't normal, since she took a canon zombie bite in the intro and she's fine. More Ethan bullshit. But at least it's not faggot mold anymore.

Rebecca Chambers got bit by monkeys during a cutscene and it was also never brought up again. I also wondered about that.

What we need to remember is that for all the retarded shit Wesker did, he's the successful one of the project, the one who literally spent a decade and billions of dollars to kill his own coworkers, simped after his jailbait new recruit, gloated to his coworkers face after he ordered them gunned down, then ordered his other coworker gunned down.

I don't think he's a accelerated aged clone, I don't think that tech exists, they have to grow them from scratch, age wise.

He's likely in his early 30's, so he's just been aging since around the time they knew Albert Wesker was the most successful of the Weskers.
He likely has the Raccoon City Syndrome simply because he goes to the Ark facility alot, and I suppose it was picked up by everyone who has it from an airborne, very weak strain that existed at that outbreak.
