Honestly you might as well do that, I'm pretty sure I did the same thing and I still got through the rest of the game without too much trouble.

That being said, try to be as conservative as possible still, save the bolts for when you're out of everything else cause some of the other fights might be a pain if you don't prepare beforehand.
That's the thing, I'm trying to hang on to the bolts and BOW grenades for Alexia as I heard her second form is an even bigger pain in the ass than the Tyrant. I'm even a bit reluctant to use the grenade launcher at all since there's gonna be other shit like Hunters later on.

If I use some of that shit now, I'm not sure how easy it'll be to restock since the game's a bit on the stingy side.

If there's any silver lining, it's that I'm no longer hurting on healing items. 11 green herbs can go a long way.

Damn, best advice I can really give is just try to save as much ammo as possible during the next segment if you're using up a bit more ammo, the areas are a bit bigger so you can get around the zombies easier.

If you still have the knife in the item box I'd suggest using that to get around most zombies since it's actually quite good in this game as long as you slash at the knees.

Glad to hear the environments get wider, a lot of my attempts to run past enemies before have been very hit or miss (especially with Bandersnatches, I can hardly catch a break with those guys). And I have been using the knife against single and spread out zombies, it certainly helped me conserve handgun ammo (at least until the Tyrant showed up and backed me into a fire).

It's still a fun game most of the time, but a potential remake can stand to knock the Tyrant down a few notches.

I feel like I'm the only asshole that liked Umbrella Corps. Or maybe I'm just being a contrarian?

I remember the producer for it specifically saying it wasn't your typical RE game, only for scores of people to shit their pants and go "Ugh! This isn't Resident Evil!" I mean... no shit? It was advertised as a squad based multiplayer-centric and objective based game, and I'm relatively sure they knew that going forward with it's development, because the damn thing was made in the Unity engine. They didn't lose a lot of money when it flopped, and it felt more like an experiment than anything else.

I've always admired playing as the "grunts" in any established universe, because seeing all this crazy bullshit from their perspective is a treat in itself.
There is a story, btw, but all it is is just some text dumps during loading screens, which further lends to my theory that UC was an experiment.

I dunno, something about Red Umbrella making their own soldier program in an attempt to recreate HUNK's success rate has an interesting angle to it that I would've liked to see explored more, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Your average normie doesn't like playing a faceless nobody.
I hear a big part of the problem was the jankyness and that it just didn't feel good to play. Dunno how true either of those things are, but they're the most common complaints I've heard about it.

Jesus tapdancing Christ, what does it take to wound that Tyrant on the plane?

I've been using a single BOW grenade, a few acid rounds, and the dual pistols, and the fucker still hasn't limped. And of course, trying to dodge his attacks is an exercise in frustration since the area is so narrow (and god help you if he has you trapped in a corner).

I'm trying not to waste too much of my ammo, but I'm starting to wonder if I should get the explosive bolts out...
Best way to wound him is using the explosive bolts.

With all the talk of setting I was going to make a joke about putting it in northern not-Finland(people aren't cultists, they just walk around with knives) but thinking about it it's not a horrible idea.

When it comes to folklore there's a lot going on in that region, things that people aren't as familiar with that could be decent blueprints for characters and enemies. Capcom is doing a lot of 3d scanning for their environments and there are set pieces up there of the kind that RE games luuuuv. Just make a plot reason for why it's dark in the summer. If Kalevala was good enough for Tolkien there's probably something in there for Capcom.

I'm gonna chuckle at all the guys pining for Tall Lady if she turns into a butt ugly monster when the game comes out.

It's fucking Resident Evil, it's practically a requirement for the antagonists to transform into ugly abominations.

Something tells me those massive tits are going to play a role when she transfroms into her final form.

I don't know how or why, but i'm shure she was given that rack for a reason.

I'm leaning more towards her becoming a super Hunter or some shit, going by those freakishly long claws she has.

I don't know man, something's not quite right about that bitch, especially given how bloodthirsty her daughters are.

Outside of some crapily designed moments, I thought 6 was a genuinely decent game that tried to do too much.

Not sure how people here think of 5, but I've got a soft spot for it as it was the game that got me into the series.
I love 5. I've probably run through it more than any other game in the series. I can understand people not liking the setting and some parts do drag a little also not wanting to play with an AI partner, but I like it way more than 4. If you own the game on PC try using cursor aiming I think its called. The game plays like a rail shooter with those controls. If you're into that. That goes double if you can drag a friend along too.

The Resident Evil series has a lot of great original music but there is something I've been thinking about.

What if RE took a page from Rockstar or Bethesda and had licensed music in some of their games? What would they go with and how would it work?

On another note, I'm hoping Resident Evil 8 has the main overture from Swan Lake in the game. RE1 had Moonlight Sonata and both are old public domain compositions, so it's not like it's entirely out of the question either.

In case you were wondering why Swan Lake would be a good choice for RE8, well...

Playing with a friend really elevates the game. I really like RE5 but I have never played it single player. Instead I played it with a buddy one hour at the time over 2-3 weeks. The AI companion probably isn't that good but a friend that barely plays video games will take instructions 75% of the time and will almost do what you say most of the time. "Stop magnuming Jill in the head!" ... ... ... *BLAM*

I feel like this can also apply to Re6. I do like the game, but it is far more fun when you play it with a buddy.

Kind of hurts that they didn't design ada's chapters with a second player in mind. So the nameless agent is just treated as some kind of ghost by the game.
