You know what's kinda funny?

Vampire lady survives being stabbed with a sword specifically designed to kill creatures like her, and subsequently tanks assloads of rifle bullets and buckshot. Fishman is bombarded with bullets, buckshot, and grenades. Heisenberg goes toe to toe with a motherfucking tank. And doll lady is... murdered with a pair of scissors. Also, I didn't get a great look at her body before she disintegrated but it looks like Ethan was hallucinating attacking the doll and was actually manhandling her, especially because the doll is perfectly intact when you pick it up.

I for one am excited over the possibility of a Rose Winters game #BlondeSupremacy, but I don't think she'll be the next protagonist, judging by this franchise' history. Maybe in Revelations 3.

I believe RE9 will be about Chris going after BSAA or whatever. I hope to see him retired with Jill already.
I have a feeling Chris going after the BSAA will be (hopefully free) DLC, just like Not a Hero. I also hope we get to see past characters working with Chris’s new squad like Sheva and Josh Stone from RE5.

Yeah, he actually knifed her in the skull with scissors.

It's mentioned in Miranda's notes that Donna had spread her powers out across the dolls, making her able to control a lot at once but leading to her being significantly less powerful on an individual level.

I read something earlier that said there were no plans for any DLC at the moment, obviously that is something that could change but with how Capcom handled that for RE3 that means they could just be looking to REverse as the future for support.
On one hand it's probable considering capcom only makes content maps for Street fighter and monhun (hell kinda still suprised vergil dlc was even a thing on PC) on the other with what I heard about REverse being meh we will see how long that lasts.

I’m hoping they bring Jill back because she hasn’t been in the canon since RE5. I’m wondering what she’s up to.

What's Rebecca been up to, that's what I want to know.
She's a university professor who almost got turned into a zombie bride for an international gun runner/BOW dealer. At least according to the last RE animated film.

I wouldn't mind it if Capcom just explains Jill's absence as her finally saying "fuck it I'm done" after RE5. Deciding to quit and try and live a quiet life after being a literal mind slave to your former demi-god villain boss is as good a point as any to retire.

If they do anything with Chris or Jill they should set it pre-timeskip, they are way too old at that point.
I've given up and accepted that capcom characters just dont age after a certain point unless the story calls for it. Ryu, Dante, and Chris will forever be 30-ish year old virgins.

Jill...I got a revalation. I'm not getting younger, and i want to continue the redfield bloodline. Will you be my Jill sandwitch?
Speaking of, I really like how Ethan cut the gordian knot on the whole Chris posting problem.

Chris: "Ethan! The Redfield Bloodli-"

Ethan: "Adopt my daughter Chris." *dies*"

So I've played a little bit of RE8 today, and for my first RE game it was pretty fun.

Btw does anyone know how to fix the mouse not locking? I tried fixing it in the options and it still didn't work.

EDIT: Never mind, I'm a retard who forgot to turn off aim assist.

God Urban Dictionary is such a shithole.
It used to be a funny and fairly helpful resource. But of course you can never be allowed to have anything that makes fun of SJWs or woke culture, so it slowly got taken over like everything else that has ever been fun.

It hasn't gotten as bad as TV Tropes, at least.

Watch Vendetta (CGI Film), she's just a scientist making cures in a lab. That high enough IQ to be a specialized police force's medic had to go somewhere, right?

A while back I got RE6 on sale because it's turning into the biggest love-it-or-hate-it game in the series. Recently it seems there have been a lot of defenders coming out of the woodwork, especially after the series went back to horror and everyone can treat it as that time RE went full-bore on action. I figured I'd try it myself and see where I stand.

I'm playing through Leon's campaign, and maybe it's because I suck, but holy hell I'm finding this really frustrating. I keep getting blindsighted by random enemies and I find the zombies' attacks obnoxiously difficult to avoid. The worst is when they lunge at you because there's no windup animation, and once they're in the air they're impossible to avoid. It's not like RE4 where every fight is deliberately paced; when I get hit in RE4, it's because I got sloppy and a Ganado got in a shot. When I get hit in RE6, it's because there's so much shit flying everywhere that I can't possibly keep track of it all. It doesn't help that Leon's early levels are in really closed environments and the controls simply do not work in tight spaces.

And it sucks too because I actually dig the gunplay. Weapons have nice impact and the melee's got a surprising amount of depth to it. Killing enemies still feels satisfying. It's just the enemy design that feels so cheap and artificial.

You're supposed to matrix all that shit. Be like John Wick.

Just a simple showcase of what you do in RE6

In fact, that's the only criticism I can give for RE6 (other than the retarded story), all the gunplay, all the melee, all the moves, counterattacks, all the reloading, all the animations, all the stamina system revolves around it to be balanced for Mercenaries. But the main story campaign level designs are not very appropriate to show off the moves.

My brother is a stereotypical chad gamebro who loves shooting at things. He only played RE5 and finds 7 "too scary". I got him to play REmake and he got stuck on very easy because he couldn't figure out what to do, he just killed every zombie. I understand modern gamers probably don't get the appeal of solving puzzles, backtracking, and managing limited inventory but they made those games challenging. Are the classics really too hard for the casuals?
