Epik the domain registrar was bought by a mysterious company recently registered called Epik LLC. Nobody seems to know who owns it, by design. Epik LLC is different from Epik under Kingdom Ventures, and their new direction for the company seems to be stealing domains again. Terrahost is still owned by Kingdom Ventures.

I'm guessing either NSA/CIA, or Israel.

The problem is that ICANN has a 60-day hold period. If Registrar A tells you to scram and so does Registrar B, you cannot move again until that two months is up: https://support.wix.com/en/article/icanns-60-day-lock-policy
