The problem is it only takes one person to cause real damage. If someone truly wants you dead or harmed, then carrying a machete everywhere with you everyday isn't going to solve that problem. They'll simply shoot you in the back of the head after passing you on the street or run you down in their vehicle and then shoot you while their car is on top of your spine.

For someone like Null, there's bound to be at least one person with a malfunctioning brain who's willing to throw their life away to be the martyr who took down the evil Josh Moon. He's not a person in their minds. We're not people in their minds. When you're no longer human to them, extreme violence stops being objectionable. Some dickless retard who's going to 41% anyways and this is their hail mary attempt to do something noteworthy in life will take their shot. Troon shooters are already on the rise.

Personally, there's no risk to me. I don't even necessarily think they're doing this to harm Null, but it's the only "trap" that comes to mind and it's not that easy to avoid in America. Half our murders go unsolved, and that's only the ones we can determine to be murders.
