I believe when you acquire a company like that, you also acquire all the financial and legal burdens. Seems like it'd be very easy to get sued and them immediately sell to a shell company to get out of jail free otherwise.

The slander still has their name attached to it. I'm guessing you could at least force them to send out a retraction that blames previous management.

Interesting, I don't fully believe that Registered Agents Inc are the actual owner. If so that means Dan Keen is the probably the owner since he owns a convoluted web of registered agent services from my research (Northwest Registered Agent Service, Registered Agents Inc, Bonanzitizing LLC & probably more). Bryce Myrvang who is quoted in this press release has been quoted in these articles on the shadiness of registered agents & involvement in concealing the identity of the true owners of these LLCs, some have been used by Russian Oligarchs to skirt sanctions/hide money. International Consortium of Investigative Journalists Article(A) , this Washington Post Article on the Pandora Papers(A) & this article from esquire on Wyoming registered agents (A). I looked into Bryce Myrvang a week ago, i couldnt find much info other than those articles and him being listed as a defendant on many lawsuits throughout the county. I was able to find out that he 1 of 3 governors for Registered Agents Inc in Washington.

He was/is also a governor of VANGARANG PRODUCTIONS, LLC in Washington which was administratively dissolved in 2021 but it is currently active in Idaho.
The 2 governors listed are Bryce Myrvang & Melynda Myrvang (his sister)

Edit: Also representatives for Epik LLC previously stated a few times that the new owners are a former customer of Epik. According epik's whois data for registeredagentsinc.com , they use godaddy.....
