I bought a 8BitDo Pro2 a couple of weeks ago and it's so nice to have an actual good dpad for once. The hall effect sticks are a good touch too.

What's the go-to 360 emulator now? Xenia? I've been wanting to play some Project Gotham Racing 3 for a long time but my Xbox died almost a decade ago.Its fun to play gears of war 3 on an emulator. Since we will likely not get Gears 2 or 3 pc any time soon. Despite Microsoft also owning and releasing the MCC, there's no equivalent to any other of their franchises for some reason. All I wanted to do was play horde 2.0 with a higher framerate. Yet the coalition seems to have ceased to exist after whatever happened upon releasing "Gears 4 and 5". Guess they had their own 343 arc.
Have you tried ovagames?Does anybody have a clue as to where I can find The Movies?
Xenia is hit or miss for me I tried running Kameo a couple months ago and I couldn’t get pass the title screen with out it crashingWhat's the go-to 360 emulator now? Xenia? I've been wanting to play some Project Gotham Racing 3 for a long time but my Xbox died almost a decade ago.
Archive.org have been flying too close to the sun for quite a while so maybe this will work:Does anybody have a clue as to where I can find The Movies? I've searched around every usual avenue and only found one nonfunctioning Abandonware upload and an Italian version of the game + expansion packs. I don't have the money to buy a copy secondhand and I'd really like to play it.
Additionally, if anyone knows a consistent and reliable source for old computer games specifically, I'd really like to hear it. I'm getting very very sick of MyAbandonware always having some issue or another, especially when using Windows 10, and do not have the money to buy physical secondhand copies of old games.
I've never heard of it before. I'll give it a look now.Have you tried ovagames?
That's where I found the Italian version, so maybe? I don't know why this one didn't come up. I was looking in the right collections and everything.Archive.org have been flying too close to the sun for quite a while so maybe this will work:
I bought one of those things a couple of months ago but had some serious problems with it. The bumpers were too far to the outside, the face buttons were too far up, and the grips were far too narrow and short. It's like they were designed for the wackiest hand proportions imaginable.I bought a 8BitDo Pro2 a couple of weeks ago and it's so nice to have an actual good dpad for once. Holy shit, I forgot about that game. I'm like 90% certain I still have a copy at my parent's house somewhere. I'll see if they can dig it out for me. I should be able to check their house in a few months if they can't find it. Now I'd like to replay it. If I do find it, I'll try and figure out a way to get you the files and activation key.Does anybody have a clue as to where I can find The Movies? That’s the Lionhead game right? Had potential but got fucked over because Fable took over the studio. A shame the studio itself was a pioneer of the worst of modern gaming in terms of adding and campaigning for unfun woke trash. Also Peter Molyneux is still one of the most hatable people in gaming even when all he does is Crypto scamsHoly shit, I forgot about that game. god this controller not being out of place in the retro games thread means only one thingView attachment 6737293
>The most ergonomic controller ever invented
I use an 360 controller for everything including emulation. If I want a more “authentic” experience for the console Im emulating I’ll buy one of those cheap third-party controllers off Amazon. Its plug and play even on linux.
It’s the best controller ever made.
Doesn't seem to have itHave you tried ovagames?

I'm just curious what leads you to believe the .nfo is corrupt. Those are pretty common to be included with pirated games and aren't necessary. It just tells you which group/person released the crack.Doesn't seem to have it
I'm more than a bit suspicious.
This took maybe 2 seconds to download when almost every actual game i've downloaded has taken at least 3-5 minutes per .zip/.rar.
The file above the exe appears to be corrupt and this download is from back when this would be considered piracy; the file is from 2005, despite being uploaded to the Archive in 2022. All I know of older piracy is that it used to be a lot more ridden with malware.
Given that old PC games tend to have installers and I've never seen a preinstalled one come without a bunch of folders and other files included, I really don't know if this is legit and I'm not willing to risk my PC to check. Thanks for the link, anyways.
Mostly the pop-up that refuses to open and has a window saying "this file may be corrupt". I'm not familiar with .nfo's so I trusted the pop-up and moved on with my day. I could kind of discern that it was basically a readme, but it showing up as corrupt was a red flag that I felt I might as well include.I'm just curious what leads you to believe the .nfo is corrupt.
lol, you've got neat parents if that's the case. Thanks for even trying in the first place, I'm surprised anyone even had a copy let alone a way to rip it. Looking forward to if you find it.I'll take a look at it on one of my computers I don't care about. My father hasn't had a chance to look through my stuff and I don't expect him to look to hard.
I like it for 3D games, but I'm not a fan of the D-Pad.View attachment 6737293

Ahh gotcha, yeah, they basically are a readme, I'm not sure how well they play with modern basic text editors because 1. I never download them in the torrent package and 2. I already know I'm getting it from Skidrow or FitGirl etc.Mostly the pop-up that refuses to open and has a window saying "this file may be corrupt". I refuse to accept it until it's retro until it's over 20 years old.god this controller not being out of place in the retro games thread means only one thing
it sucks a little more to get old than it did before
The dpad was abysmal. One of the worst I've ever used, right up there with the Switch's default """dpad""".I like it for 3D games, but I'm not a fan of the D-Pad.
You probably went to dot net and not dot com.
Feel like it's the opposite? Or at least I didn't have to worry about crypto miners or ransomware. All I know of older piracy is that it used to be a lot more ridden with malware.
NFO files are plain text and need to be opened in notepad.Mostly the pop-up that refuses to open and has a window saying "this file may be corrupt". I'm not familiar with .nfo's so I trusted the pop-up and moved on with my day.
