Most of these have been shifted to Myrient now, thank god, but these are extremely comprehensive and losing them is going to be fucking awful. One of the only good things Reddit has done for humanity, all wiped in an instant.

The last time I tried using this resource for an obscure Wii game, after only being able to find shitty nkit packs elsewhere, they only had the fucking PAL version. Not very comprehensive.

Really glad I downloaded the entirety of the NES, SNES, GB, GBC, and GBA archives.

Edit: Sega and Mame have been locked down.

It's over for Ryujinx while Sudachi came back just a week ago. These emulators are taking turns now.
I wouldn't mind something like erista for switch games, even if I only have interest in one game that it's only on the switch, and its cutscenes still get out of sync.

The only way now is to use the Argent Beacon, or however that repo with all the moonman song is called. Since it would be an onion link, normies would be filtered and lawyers would assume nobody would go there.

Shit is going down. I've never seen it this bad in terms of crackdowns and I've been pirating games since the 1990s. Vimm got hit this year and it's been up since fucking 1998. My guess is myrient/hshop is next.

I think compiling everything together and putting it out in the open is part of why this is happening. Your average person is terrified to use torrents because they think they will get muh viruses. When you put everything together on this nice, clean, friendly looking site, and direct people who are so retarded they post "How I get roms?" on Reddit towards it, it draws the Eye of Sauron.

I dont like Torrents for Roms to be honest, unless its a huge file. I dont have the time, patience, drive space or bandwidth to download collections of files at once.

Something that always puzzled me about Internet Archive was the torrent files are incomplete, and this seems to be by design. This makes it useless for large collections. This isn't just a ROMs thing either.

What are you talking about? All the Archive.org stuff is still there, just gated behind a login. Unless I'm missing something? Just snagged a GC title, Wii U title...

There's a python command line tool called "internetarchive" and you set your credentials and then do "ia download thing" and it handles all of it.
I'm currently having it plow through a list of files.

Modchips for your pre-2004 game systems. I wanted to modify my old PS1 when I still had it but I never got the chance to since I sold it. It's a nice accessory to have when a more digital way of jailbreaking consoles isn't available.
